郵便配達人として平凡な日常を送る沢木は、勤務中に偶然高校時代の旧友・野口と再会する。ヤクザになった野口から「おまえの今の毎日に、ガキの頃みたいに胸がドキドキすることがあるか？」と問いかけられた沢木は、その言葉が頭から離れず、酔った勢いで自宅に持ち帰った郵便物を片っ端から開封してしまう。その中に、末期がんに冒された小夜子という女性が書いた手紙があった。小夜子に興味を持った沢木は、彼女を探し出して会おうと決心するが、野口と再会したことで殺人事件の共犯容疑をかけられ、警察から追われる羽目になる…。

'Blues' a hit
|
Of the Sabu films I own, this is my fave. 'Postman Blues' is a wonderful mix of action, humor, and romance (Sawaki and Keiko are so cute!). Any movie that gives the underappreciated Ren Osugi ample screen time rocks - he's awesome as Hitman Joe! And those cops... I wouldn't want them patrolling my town! |

i want to date the main guy..ummm i mean it was gr
| my friend had told me about this movie and wanted me to see it because she said it was good..well i watched it the whole way through and all i can say is...I LOVE THIS MOVIE. i loved it so much that i had to get one for myself ^_^...anywho the main guy was hot and i thought the girl was beautiful too, but then again all asian girls a pretty and also the guys...they are hot hot hot!!! anyways if i were u i would watch it! but you don't have to take my word for it if you don't want to... |

great movie
| This movie was one of our favorite asian movies to this date. It is well made, well acted, with lots of satire, comedy, action, suprises, and new twists. The characters give us a universal look at human nature. My teenage children loved it too. (we are american) I am not sure what kind of response it may have had in Japan, but I wouild reccommend this movie to anyone. |

Wonderful Movie!
| I love this movie so much! It is supposed to be a comedy, but it is so twisted. It is a true work of art. The ending was wonderful and magickal but so sad....I cried for about a 1/2 hour because of it. I cry everytime I watch the movie, even during, I have little choke-ups because I know what will happen. It is such a great movie! Everyone should see it! ^^ |
