Princess Chang Ping returned to stage in 2006 and 2007 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sin Fung Ming opera troupe's first performance of the Cantonese Opera classic. Hong Kong's most famous Cantonese opera troupe, Sin Fung Ming was founded by opera legends Yam Kim Fai and Pat Suet Sin in 1956. After their retirement, Sin Fung Ming was succeeded by Chor Fung Ming. To celebrate Sin Fung Ming's 50th anniversary and pay tribute to Pat Suet Sin and Yam Kim Fai, their students Lung Kim Sang and Mui Shet Sze and the Chor Fung Ming troupe, under the leadership of Pat Suet Sin herself as art director, staged 40 sold-out performances of Sin Fung Ming's most famous work, Princess Chang Ping, a tragic tale of love and politics during the late Ming Dynasty.

This Limited Edition collector's release records the entire four-hour performance of Princess Chang Ping. The DVD set comes with a unique serial number and photo and lyric booklets.
