where is it made from ??

i just wanna know where did the bear made from... because last year,when i went to korea, i wanted to buy this bear.. but my father didn't want to buy it for me just because of the bear is made in china... can anyone answer my question?? |

Better than expected

So, I ordered this bear, but I was a little nervous. When I got it I was very very please. The Alfred bear comes in a cute box, with details in English from the Jeju Teddy Bear museum. The bear itself is cuter than in the drama. It is SUPER soft. I disagree with what other reveiwers say about it being "hard". It is "firm" but it is still cuddly. I reccomend this for any Goong fan, or Teddy bear collecter. |

Received Alfred the teddy bear yesterday after ordering it on New year's day. The 2 weeks waiting for it was worth it. Alfred was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside the box. Also inside the box were 3 postcards (as shown in the picture gallery for this product on this site) of Prince Shin and Alfred teddy, and him and his family. Some effort has been put in to make the box very appealing by adding English and Korean writing about the joys of teddy bears. On the side of the box it mentions Alfred being given to Prince Shin when he was 5 years old. On the front of the box, it says Alfred and Shin Lee. There is also a plastic wrap around the box when I opened up the parcel. This is useful if you want to protect the box as well as the teddy. The box is not a flap box but a slide open one. Alfred itself, is of high workmanship. For the price paid, it is very good quality and very very cute. Unlike other teddy bears I have bought in the past for a similar price, this teddy bear is of much superior quality and is very much a collector's item if you do not want to play with it. The bear is made or commissioned by Jeju's Teddy Bear Museum in Korea. The leather tag on the back of the bear states this. Hence, a high quality bear. Reminds me of Steiff bears. It is quite hard/stiff. The arms and legs can be repositioned, and the fur of the bear is quite soft. It really does look like Prince Shin's one in Princess Hours (in my opinion, even cuter!). However, I do think this one might be a little bigger in size than the orginal one used in the K-drama. Nonetheless, it is worth buying if you like to collect teddy bears or if you are a big fan of Goong! I recommend this to everyone, also makes a good gift from boyfriend to girlfriend and vice versa. |
