July 17, 2006 Very gooD!The first time I noticed this group was due to the song they sang for "The Classic" by Son Ye Jin. Their song, You in Me Me in You was so well done that I bought their album without hesitation and I've never regretted it to date. Their voices are absolutely unique and fantastic! Their songs are quite different from the korean pop...more refreshing, more acoustic and original as well. very very good for easy listening on a nice quiet day...:) Did you find this review helpful? In fact, some might find his voice too high-pitch. However, I'm totally taken with his voice after some time. It really grows on you. The songs are very suitable for him and he can really take fast and slow tracks quite well. A very versatile singer. While I think his voice doesn't really match his looks, :) this album is really a very good showcase of his talents. It is indeed one of my favourite korean albums. Did you find this review helpful? August 1, 2005 Bonus: Special featuresI bought 2 of this album: the korean version and this overseas version. Both are actually slightly different as the korean one has a very very nice lyircs booklet and the making of It's Raining MV while the overseas one has the chinese lyrics which will help you to understand his songs and MVs of his 2 hits, I do and It's Raining. I can't say I regret buying both due to the different items in the CD but I do sincerely hope that JYP will try to standardise his albums so that fans will get ALL the same things. August 1, 2005 Absolutely fabulous !I bought this concert DVD bcos I have yet to watch Rain performed a whole full set of his dance or song on any programmes except his MVs due to the unavailability of his songs here in my country. I think this is probably my favourite item from YesAsia so far. The songs and performances are great and the packaging was nice. The best of it all are the bonus features which include the MVs of all his albums to date and the history and interviews with his critics. These really help one to understand Rain more and the DVD is indeed worth keeping. I esp like the subtitles which were available throughout the DVDs and it's such a relief not have to guess what he was saying. If you are a fan of Rain, this is really not to be missed and the even if you are not, you will be riverted by his performances and stage charisma. He is simply not just an entertainer, a singer or even a dancer. He is really an ARTISTE. I do hope to see more of such DVDs from him in the future. Did you find this review helpful? August 1, 2005 Can be even betterI like this movie bcos of the chemistry between Lee Don Gun and Han Ji Hye, esp Lee. However, while the packaging of the DVD and the special features are all very nice, I can't help but hope that English or chinese subtitles for the special featues are added to it. It would be the most wonderful to know exactly what they were saying, esp the interviews which would give more insight to the movie and the characters. I was also slightly confused to find that the kissing scene between Han and Lee at the end was not included in the Deleted Scenes. It would be a nice touch as well if the titles in the main menu are in english and have more of the Making of the movie. To date, it's my favourite drama and it never fails to make me cry. It's really a very touching love story and yet it touches on social topics such as Aids and the prejudice of it etc...which gives the drama a depth that other dramas lack. October 21, 2004 Watch for the Hunks...Well, if you like Song Seung Hun and Kown Sang Woo, this is the prefect movie with both as the main leads. The story is pretty simple and ridiculous but the cast performed quite well overall. The friend and the policeman are the unexpected surprises to the show as the other two stars tend to overshine them. October 21, 2004 japanese version of Korean songsWhen i saw this album in the music stores, I was quite excited. After listening to it for a while, I realised this was just a japanese version of his korean CD, most probably due to the popularity of Winter Sonata in Japan. It was slightly disappointing as Ryu sang most of the songs in Japanese, which I prefer to hear them in his native tongue, Korean. But perhaps for Japanese fans, they will like this album.
