A song from the heart!
|
With Prism, Yuki gives us another new sound! 'Prism' has a wonderful melody and again, Yuki's voice amazes us. It's a slow and moving song with a very American sound. In some ways this song reminds me of the works of Elton John or even the 'Cheers' theme. It's similar to the music of that era. Near the end of the piece Yuki does something very new with her voice that's perfect for the song. A falcetto I believe it's called. I listen to the song just to hear the ending. Unlike the first single, 'Prism' is in no way influenced by Mean Machine or Chara. I actually think this would have been a better choice for the debut than 'the end of shite', and very fitting, seeing as how her first album and tour are both named 'PRISMIC'. |
