The charm of Pursuit Of A Killer lies in the long awaited reunion of two Five Venoms; Lo Meng, who plays a mainland Chinese criminal escaping to Hong Kong in search of a better life, and Sun Chien, the cop who helps him adjust to Hong Kong life while tracking down his mysterious killer.

Bold and innovative
Bold and innovative
| An unforgettable scene is when Lo Mang eats a lizard in one take. It is real as you can still see the tail squirming in his hands after he has chewed it. Another highlight is Lo Mang having sex with a prostitute and treating her like a rag doll. This film approaches new wave HK cinema with its bold and innovative approach. Realism is the order of the day. |
