The WWII ended at 1945, however, the DIVISION, a clandestine military research agency which specializes in turning human into lethal weapon by modifying common citizens' genes prospers cotinuously. The transformed warriors are empowered with unusual talents, like moving objects with psychic power, foresee the future, manipulate enemies' mind. However, those not obeying to be killing machines with be executed. Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a "mover," is a second-generation telekinetic who escapes from the Division after his father is killed more than a decade ago. He hides his true identity living in Hong Kong as a common foreign resident. One day, Nick encounters clairvoyant Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), a 13-year-old "watcher" who seeks his help in stealing a briefcase that may possess the secret to decompose the Division. In doing so, they also need to enlist expatriate "pusher" Kira, someone who can influence others action by controlling their minds. On the other side, Division Agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou), also dominating "pusher", is on his mission to stop these rebels at all costs.
