Queer as Folk follows the lives of three gay men living it large in Manchester's Canal Street.
Stuart has got it all – he's rich, drop-dead gorgeous and always the center of attention. He can be forgiven the arrogance because he's pretty close to perfection. His best mate Vince is funny, adorable and definitely a babe but, unlike his friend, has zero confidence in himself. Since time began, Vince has carried a torch for Stuart but his love remains firmly unrequited. They're both 29, hitting Canal Street every night, stalwarts of the scene but just starting to wonder where else their lives may be going. Then along comes Nathan. Young, wild and coming out with a vengeance, he crowbars his way into their world and once he arrives, nothing is ever the same again.

I love this series
| I've only recently watched this series even if it was done ages ago. All I can say is that I love the series. I love the series because the characterization is good. I love the series because it is honest. I love the series because it revolves around the concept of unrequited love and owning someone (as in being in a relationship) which don't just apply to homosexual relationships but to heterosexual relationships as well. I love the guys because they have their own style and they are fabulous in each of their own way. |
