Fantastic Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have only recently come across Aikawa Nanase and so so impressed with the 2 songs I heard, I snagged this album in a heartbeat. It is everything I expected: high energy poppy/punk type rock. Tracks 2, 3, and 7 stand out the most to me and I constantly listen to them. The rest are also great songs. I am very happy with this purchase and will look into her past stuff.

Hightly recommended cd to those who like this style of music. You won't be disapointed!

Aikawa is on FIRE Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
R.U.O.K.?! is the new "ROCK" CD from Nanase Aikawa. In contrast to the Ballad heavy "The First Quarter," this CD is VERY VERY rock. It starts out with the very chaotic, frustrated sounding "Foolish 555." Nanase sounds like a wet cat crossed with Mick Jagger. The second track is much more "accessable," in a rock vein, and is pretty much in line with songs on her last "rock" release "7 Seven."

The third offering on this disc is VERY reminicent of "Purana" style songs and is called "Fly to Rainbow Ray." One aspect of this CD that many old school Nanase fans will notice is that the guitar solos are much more modern than they have been in the past. This would be the more frequent contributions and influence of Marty Friedman of Megadeth fame. The chorus of this song is classic because it features Nanase singing "Fly to Rainbow Ray" with a Japanese twist, so it sounds like "Fie to Lainboo Lay."

Song four is the least memorable to me. It isn't bad; it just doesn't stand out. The beginning has some of the same "chaos" as in "Foolish 555." Next is "Red Wheel" which follows in the same style as "7 Seven" power-ballads. The song reminds me of late 80's alternative rock.

"Snowfall" is another power-ballad. Lots of guitar in this song. I love guitar!!

What I love most about this CD is that it starts with a bang and goes out with a bang. The last song is heavy and driving. Her voice is in good shape for this song, and it has some neat melodic twists that put it on my best of Nanase list.

Over all a great release and I am excited to listen to it more. Nanase is back to rocking out where she should be. I can appreciate her diversity, but she is a rocker plain and simple and does her best work backed up by screaming guitars.

R.U.O.K ?! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The only thing that disappointed me with this mini-album is that...its a mini-album. But its a great cd. It's great to hear some soild rock tunes from Nanase (Frist Quarter was amazing, too, so pick up that if you haven't). Nanase worked with some very talented people and they put together an awesome, energy packed release. This is a must for any Nanase fan new and old.

Amazing! She can still rock! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
All I have to say that this mini-album is the best work I've heard from Nanase since Purana. Right now my favorite track has to be Fly to Rainbow Ray. Like the rest of the album it has so much energy behind it.
