May 2, 2009 really impressiveI bought this book because I absolutely love Tablo and his music, so I figured if his writing is even just half as good as his music, then it would totally be worth it. Turns out, his writing is amazing. I was really impressed with his stories. The book is made up of a bunch of short stories that seem to be random while you're reading them, but when you finish the story, you're left practically speechless. His stories have meaning behind them and they are beautifully written. Tablo is quite the talented man.

March 15, 2009 DBSK is Super CoolI heard DBSK's Mirotic song and I loved it so much, I bought the whole CD and I am soo glad I did. Their songs are great and really catchy. Wrong Number is one of my favorites and even though I've said it a million times in these reviews, I'm not a slow song kind of girl, but Love in the Ice is a pretty cute ballad. Most of the songs on this CD make you want to dance or jump around or bop your head to the beat. It's a really happy CD, so you won't be sorry you got it...when you do go out and buy it of course!
The only thing I don't understand - and maybe it's because I don't speak Korean - but the only difference I heard between the Mirotic clean version and the original version is that in the clean version they say "under my sky" and in the original version they say "under my skin." I can't really tell if there are any differences in Korean, but because I saw the music video a few times, I was used to hearing "under my skin" so I bought the CD with the original version on it. Besides, years and years ago in the States there was a very famous song with the line "you're under my skin" in it. It used to be romantic if a guy thought that about a girl.
Ps...if you need more incentive to buy this CD, the photobook has some oh so yummy photographs of the guys in it. That's right, I know you really want to buy it now hahaDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 15, 2009 TaeYang is indeed HOTBig Bang is my favorite Korean band, so of course I love anything they release - solo or together. YoungBae definitely has a great voice, so all of these songs are fantastic. My favorite is GiDo with Teddy. The song would be great on its own, but Teddy's rap bit in the middle, makes it totally #1. Make Love is not bad - kind of catchy, but I think because I heard the English version first, it was hard for me to get into the Korean version. That and I'm American so I'm only slightly partial to stuff in English sometimes haha. The beat in Sinner is amazing, Only Look at Me is so so good and Baby I'm Sorry is not my favorite, but pretty good nonetheless. Even the intro is really cool even though it's only a minute or two long.

March 15, 2009 Gotta Love Big BangI'm a huge Big Bang fan, so I'm a little biased here, but this is my favorite CD of theirs. I'm not really into slow ballads and all that, so sincere there are no actual slow songs on this CD, I love all the songs. Oh Ah Oh and Wonderful are definitely my favorites. I usually hate acoustic versions of songs, but the Haru Haru one is surprisingly pretty good.
And who can forget little SeungRi's new solo song Strong Baby, such a good song. Gotta love Big Bang as a whole though. They are fabulous together, so go buy this CD, you're going to LOVE it.

January 23, 2009 rain working on his english skillsI like this CD. I nearly all of Rain's CDs and while this isn't my favorite, it's pretty good. I'm not a fan of his slow songs this time around, but the fast songs make up for it. Turn Your Head and Rainism are pretty good and I love My Way. I especially like how he added some English and Chinese versions of some songs. I don't know, if you're a Rain fan, you'll like it so I say try it. Lee MinWoo was my favorite so of course I had to get all of his albums, but I have to say this is his best album yet. Don't Trust Men (track 2) is my favorite song. It's very lively and fun and VERY addictive - not to mention totally true when it comes to men haha. I'm also kind of obsessed with I'm Here and Hot! But he has a few slow songs on his album too that are really good. I usually don't love slow songs, but I'll admit that Ask for Forgiveness (I think that's the translation, anyway it's track 4) is a pretty song.

October 28, 2008 It's sooo HyorishI never really heard many songs from HyoRi before except for Toc Toc Toc...I really like this album though and I'm glad I bought it. Her voice is really attractive whether it's fast or rapping or slow and calm. Her songs are lots of fun to listen to. They are lively and catchy. Most of the songs on this album are upbeat and fast - my favorite being Hey Mr. Big, Photo Album, and U Go Girl - but even her slow songs like Will it Get Better? are nice to listen to if you like slower songs. Big Tone is featured in that song so he keeps it from being too slow and too much like a sleepy ballad.

He is an amazing rapper and even though his style is incredibly American, he kind of personalizes it to make it 100% Crown J.
Fly Boy is such a catchy song. I play it over and over and I just can't get sick of it, not that I want to haha And it has just enough English words in it for us non-Korean speakers to be able to sing along to at least a few lines of the song.
Baby Boy is a pretty cool song too. D Brown was in a few of Crown J's other songs on his other albums and I really like them together.
Too Much is a cute song, even though I'm not a big fan of Seo In Young, but I like this song. It's not too much of a remix - at least to me it doesn't sound much different except for a little bit here and there - it's still a good song.
Overall, Crown J gets an A+ from this American girl and I really REALLY hope this mini album is just a preview of some super cool full album that Crown J is getting ready to release!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The book is bigger than I thought and the pictures are really cool...they guys look good and the photos show them serious and having fun. They don't look forced or anything.
The CD is great. I'm a big ShinHwa fan, but this is definitely one of my favorite albums by them. A couple of slow songs, some cool dance songs. So In Love is probably my favorite. You really feel for each of the characters; whether you love them or hate them or want to cry for them or slap them in the face...you'll feel something.
Each actor works perfectly as their character in the show. Poor Cha Song Joo spends a good number of episodes running after Han Jung Suh. He is the most persistant, resilient person I've ever seen. You'll probably hate TaeHwa for a good portion of the show, but he'll grow on you. And YooRi and her mother will make you want to scream. That's what makes a good drama, getting involved.

The characters work brillantly together. You'll hate them sometimes and then love them. The dramas that get you so enthralled in the plot that you totally lose track of reality. If you don't like sad dramas, this is deeeeefinitely not for you because it deeeeefinitely lives up to it's title.

It's a cute story and Yoon Eun Hye and Gong Yoo are hilarious together. Actually, all the 'coffee princes' work well together and make for some funny scenes.

He is my favorite rapper and while it was a little shocking to hear how sexual some of his lyrics are (one more time for example, though nothing will compare to hearing raspberry from his first album), I'm still very impressed by his rap and singing skills.
He doesn't make it seem like he's just trying to be black or all gangsta or whatever. Plus his slow love songs show how killer of a singer he is too. It's cool how much English he mixes into his songs for us non-Korean fans also.

It has quite a few dance songs like 'the m style' and 'play my song' But if you like ballads 'my child' is really sweet sounding. August 7, 2007 se7en is amaaazingI'm usually really picky about which CDs I buy, but I'm really glad I bought this one. If you love Se7en, then you should totally buy his 4th album.
