Chow Yun Fat's romance comedy Radio Tycoon is now out on DVD! Aired in the 1980s, the drama stunned many Hong Kong TV fans for its refreshing style. Chow Yun Fat teams up with gorgeous actress Angie Chiu and veteran Michael Miu to unfold a story set in a newly established radio station. Chow Yun Fat stars as Cheong, a young man just graduated from a British law school. He falls in love with radio program host Chi (Angie Chiu), whose pleasant personality and sweet voice distinguish her from other girls in the radio station. Cheong's best friend Hei (Michael Miu) also joins the radio station and has a crush on Chi. Without noticing Hei falling in love with the same girl as he does, Cheong even teaches him all the dating tips! While he tides through this challenge in his love life at ease, he does not have much luck with his career. The news of Cheong being a tycoon's illegitimate son is broken to him and the media simultaneously, and the tycoon's family members wants to beat Cheong by every means...

　　韋業昌(周潤發)，年少有為，獲委任為新電台行政經理不久即鋒芒畢露。當他叱吒風雲之際，忽傳出他乃是大股東甄汝軒(關海山)的私生子，此事震撼整個播音界。自從昌身份被泄露後，即被捲入甄家奪產的漩渦。甄家英(馮淬帆)欲獨吞家產，不惜千方百計陷害昌，令昌的事業危機處處。另外，昌鍾情著名播音員歐若芷(趙雅芝)，二人正欲訂婚之時，芷的父親被報界爆出實為毒梟，再度震撼播音界。

Wai Yip Cheong (Chow Yun Fat) is employed as the Executive Manager of the new radio station. He soon distinguishes himself by his capability and decision. However, the rumor of his being the illegitimate son of the station's biggest shareholder YAN YUE HIN (Kwan Hoi Shan) makes a stir in the industry. He gets involved in a legacy dispute not long after the disclosure of his actual identity. HIN's son, YAN KA YING (FUNG TSIU FAN) tries every fair means and foul to defame him. From then on, CHEONG's career is beset with difficulties. A YEUK CHI (CHIU NGAR GHI), the top radio artiste, are about to get engaged when the news of CHI's father being the big drug-trafficking syndicate is publicized. This again causes another stir.
