(1)Our Price: US$38.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysRelated promotions:July 5, 2007 Janggeum's dreamshaving loved the drama i was happy to stubble upon this while in malaysia. but i forgot about one thing, and that is Muslims view on pork. having seen the 1st episode of the original, i was abit confused with this malay version as the Wild bore in the intro is invisible or blanked out. then i remembered. i havent seen the rest of the episodes yet so i can't comment if evey detail of brown meat in infact blanked out when the food is severed.
as for the animation, its spot on, if a little kiddie, but you will fall in love with jang geum just like you have with the drama
my only grumble is about the censore, but if you cant find this series from either HK, Korea or japan with english subs [or your own language], you have no choice but to own this series. i cant give it a low mark, as its a great anime, and i cant give it a high mark for the above reason, so i just rate it with what i think

February 17, 2007 Seo Dong Yo vol 1 and 2iv jus bought this series today, so this is why iv given such a low mark. only seen two episodes, but i like the drama all ready, and iv enjoyed other period dramas such as emperor of the sea, dae jang geum and damo.
as for the subtitles, there was a slight delay when the actors were talking and subtitles were missing, or the odd spelling mistake. [it still upsets me when mum is spelt mom, but that happens in every american english subbed drama]. as for the DVD's, im happy to say i bought both vol 1 and 2 in Sawarak,Malaysia for a bargin price of 139RM each. thats 20 pounds each [double that for USD]. both are beautiful boxsets, with 7 disks in each. so if anything, i would very very upset to of bought mine at YESASIA's price of 349RM only to find the quality of the subs for the price of the disksDid you find this review helpful?
