YesAsia Editorial Description
Pixar Animation Studios strikes again with Ratatouille! Director Brad Bird (The Incredibles) helms this computer animated feature about a young rat named Remy gifted with a sensitive sense of smell. His talent makes him the ideal poison sniffer, helping his pack discern which foods have been laced with rat poison, but Remy has a different dream: to be a gourmet chef! This unusual rat gets his chance when he's separated from his pack, only to wind up befriending Linguini, a garbage boy at the once-renowned Paris restaurant Gusteau's. With Remy's help, Linguini becomes the hottest chef in the city, but will this pair of culinary cohorts be able to win over Remy's skeptical family, not to mention Ego, the most powerful - and picky - food critic in Paris?
Audiences and critics alike responded to Ratatouille at the 2007 summer box office, propelling the film to blockbuster status and continuing the incomparable string of hits from Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. The unusual storyline of a rat seeking to become a chef allows director Brad Bird the chance to deliver complex and even mature messages that may surprise many moviergoers. But that doesn't mean the film isn't fun. True to the Disney-Pixar formula, Ratatouille possesses a quirky and endearing cast of characters, a rousing and inspirational storyline, and loads of entertaining comedy that should charm and delight the entire family.

Best Pixar Film yet
| Out of all the Pixar films I have seen, this one is the best. All other films to me didn't have a strong a storyline, especially Cars. Instead, Ratatouille brings in a connection between man and mouse through cooking. I could never get myself to buy any other Pixar films but this one has gotten me wanting to buy it. Great film in the opinion of someone who doesn't really like pixar films. |

Could have been better
| If you have enjoyed Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Cars. Set your hopes lower for this one. Somehow the magic is not there. It is still a good movie. Can see the Pizar team put alot of effort in this show. A good show but not a Classic. |
