Red Steel (Japan Version) Wii

From the developers at Ubisoft Paris comes Red Steel, an exclusive first-person action/adventure game for Nintendo's Wii console! In Red Steel, players will get the chance to wield a katana and brandish some modern weaponry in a way never before experienced on any home console to date. In this wholly immersive gaming experience, you will be able to push the Wii's unique motion-sensitive controller to the limit and even make good use of the Wii's nunchuck attachment! As a result, gamers can hold their swords or guns normally or "gangsta style" depending upon how they hold the controller during gameplay. Reloading the gun involves a simple shake of Wii's nunchuk attachment, and players can even block attacks with their sword as well! Factor in a split-screen multiplayer option, and the uniquely immersive Red Steel is one Wii title gamers won't want to pass up!

Set in both Japan and the United States, the plot of Red Steel begins in Los Angeles, as Scott Monroe and his fiancée Miyu arrive at a restaurant to meet Miyu's father, Isao Sato. Shockingly, a smattering of gunfire breaks out, as Yakuza thugs storm the restaurant in an effort to kidnap Sato. As shots explode all around them, Scott saves Sato, but in the process, poor Miyu ends up getting abducted instead. It turns out that Sato was mortally wounded in the attack, and Scott soon learns of his true identity as the godfather of one of Japan's largest crime families! But before passing away, Sato bequeaths a special katana to Scott in the hopes that he will head to Japan and rescue Miyu!

After arriving in Japan, Scott gains the help of Sato's old friend Otori, a reformed Yakuza and a master of the katana. Scott also befriends a fellow named Harry Tanner, who happens to own a popular night club frequented by the Yakuza. Using his underworld connections for the side of good, Harry mentors Scott on all the ins-and-outs of Japan's criminal elite. During his investigation, Scott discovers that a man named Tokai is to blame for his prospective father-in-law's death and his girlfriend's abduction. It seems Tokai is the mastermind behind the nefarious Shibuya Giris, and would like nothing better than to gain dominion over six rival Yakuza clans. While Tokai makes plans to unite the clans, Scott attempts to convince the heads of these gangs to join with him instead and further his personal quest to bring down Tokai's vast criminal empire. But will he succeed? And is there anyone left he can really trust?
