allthough i also like the style of music of the wonder girls also..who are doing very well in the U.S. right now..Korea pumps out more singers (not bands) or (artists) than just about any body in the world ,so hopefully S.M. Whom has Ruined Boa,for now,will keep the snsd (this initial junk is a joke)

( BoA's label) and many others in Korea seem to feel ,hey nice 1st Korean album or mini single ,now go to Japan ;for the rest of your career ,OLD allready ../ the cover looks nice ,but for a few dollars more ,you get a lot more music and p.v.'s/ the only thing that may be different is this has the instrumentals..Yes, it would be nice to hear the Grace singing in Korean Again,as well as Boa... April 28, 2009 Good First Debut ,BUT;Yes ,after school has a good sound and seem good ,But; how many boy and girl singers Can Korea ,keep pumping out ??? 1 of my relatives had a article from her Korean newspaper,last week stating that the music shows on kbs ,mbc and sbs are cutting back on how long each performer can be on , GOOD; so we can see less of the pretty boy bands like; Super Junior and these other wanna be talentless groups ,with Rapping ballads , as you allready know, After School has the same record label as Son Dam-Bi ,whom i feel should get more air time and credit than she gets .my only prob. with A.S. as well as many girl groups they are starting to sound the same ,even though i love the Wonder Girls, Girls Gen.,Kara ,etc..And how many play an instrument ???
What we ,the fans need are Albums that last and have a mix of good music and good vocals ,NOTE;the word ALBUM not singles,every 4 to 6 months.i really like this music ,but i hope we don't get a 100 same sounding groups or singers in Korea, i have a serious collection of Asian pop (not hip-hop) and have been to many live shows; BoA ,Faye Wong, to name a few ,but really ;the sounds are not changing..Did you find this review helpful? March 8, 2009 Come back to KOREA or JAPANi have had the opportunity to hear this album ,and she sounds (through the entire album like Britney)
just stating facts ,Avex and S.M. are going wild with all the re issue dvd's on march 17th or whatever date ,rehashing the SAME music or dvd over and over ..when BoA was 14 and starting out the only place to go was up and boy did she ,lot's of # 1 albums in Japan And Korea, i will say this for the 3rd time S.M. /RELEASE a greatest hits album and DVD in KOREAN!!!!!is it just me or others see my point,we Want, MYSELF and MANY fans young and old something new ,BUT; if you like this album ,fine ,buy it, i don't,well,as i predicted about a year ago ,Boa will be back in the far east soon...take care all, Support Boa ,by demanding good quality items and not re issues....Later..Did you find this review helpful? December 29, 2008 Love The Music, and casingThis is another catchy tune by Korea's Finest vocal group , even if they don't hit many high notes ,loved the photos etc... and the throwback style of the 60's 70's era in the U.S. /i did not like the way they have Yubin do her Rap solo at the end of the song ,especially when they perform it live ..Tell Me, will still be their fame and fortune and as much as i like the music i don't feel this group can keep pumping out the same sounding songs, also it would help if their voices were maturing ,doesn't sound like it though ,Ye Eun is by far a very good singer ,saw the band doing a cancer benefit last month and she was excellent, none can carry the notes of a group like the Grace ,nor do they try ,still think Yubin is the best talent overall ,(and i do not like hip hop) but i like hers.. nice sound ,good vocals,look forward to a full album with different music.... (which; by the way ; i still don't agree with) Lee Soo Man is trying to be slick ,won't work !!! he even stated BOA is SM entertainment ,pretty bold statement ,considering Almost all of her career has been in JAPAN ,not Korea ,a lot of her younger fans ( especially asian ) are not that excited about the new U.S. move . THE SMART Move, would have been to release a Korean album and do some concerts THERE first...well being in the U.S. i will be waiting for the album and tour (good luck BoA,you will need it)..This is still a good concert dvd ,as someone whom has released 2 albums and some singles on an independent ,i feel this will make or break BoA ,if she does well here ,she will be the QUEEN !! i still love her style and Charisma , (IF she doesn't change and do all hip-hop) in the U.S. if she doesn't succeed ,i guess back to Japan, she has been performing over 8 years, she needs to mature as does her music, (more ballads and pop ) kinda like Hyun Jung Kim..anyhowze good luck Boa wish you well ...But don't forget where you started and are from..take care all... June 29, 2008 SOOO NOT...This is the 2nd time i will try to write a review for this ( in my opinion ) a very bad c.d. i finally saw the video ,.that was o.k. and the girls looked good ,But seeing them perform this live is rough, the only good song on this mini album is the Actual Real version of Tell Me, i don not like rap or hip hop BUT Yubin does a great job on both songs especially So Hot ,i also saw them perform this live ( lip synching ) phewwww ,it didn't look good for the Korean Movie awards...i loved the music book that came with this c.d. ,and it seems that is all i can say about the book ??? (4)Our Price: US$41.49Usually ships within 7 daysRelated promotions:June 25, 2008 Love The Songs,not the priceIt's strange this compilation slipped by me this year , i personally Don't have the videos from this set "depending" what they are, i have a lot of Japanese ,chinese ,and Korean folks in my (let's just say associates and family) BUT Japan's prices on almost anything ,books ,dvd's c.d.'s are OUTRAGEOUS the country is rich enough as is Korea allready and my associate and has wife just got back from Korea and was telling me they don't or couldn't find any c.d. or dvd stores ,you have to order online,(these folks weren't some naive americans , but both Korean ) Note ; to self don't go to korea looking for Boa ,and to make it worse the same folks have 5 or 6 Korean channels and as we all know BoA did a Hite Beer comm. spot Watches ,etc... they never show em,guess Korea is a little upset that there Greatest export is still singing and living in Japan 2 bad..i should be careful since i have Chinese living with me and my cousin has Japanese ,i love Asia a lot better than where i live but the prices and health care would kill me...i loved this original album,a lot better than whatever that noise was on MOTO where she looks Rough on the cover sleeve...
Lee soo Man ,or whatever that dudes name is that represents SM needs to work with Boa and her fans ,and to think she is (supposedly) signed with these guys till 2012 i stated this in a previous post ,i have spent my life in 2 things (entertainment and law enforcement) Bottom line; BoA will be 22 soon ,been around the music scene over 8 yrs. and still in Japan (mostly Japanese material ) she SHOULD have been as big as someone like Celine Dion (known worldwide)

The big bucks we are shelling out for the the dvd/c.d. and not even a photo book ,geez Thanx; Avex /SM...yeah i heard what her management said ,just like i hear all these idiots rioting about beef from the U.S./Both groups need to get a life!!!i love BoA, As a good person and artist ,but this material sounds like it came out 6 yrs.ago ..Note; the song titles are wrong also???? but yes all 6 are on my 360 hard drive.GamerTag ;BoA Rocks Asia......
Really folks ;what else does she need to accomplish in Japan,look at the audience avg. age in her Christmas concert, Duuh, thinking her music style would flow with all concerned, so hopefully some dance tunes and lots of Ballads, SKIP the Hip Hop,enough of that junk in the U.S. and Asia allready... But BoA still has what most of todays artists don't

April 17, 2008 A GREAT CONCERT FOR ALL !!!I was listening to Jang Nara today singing some Canto pop and thought .ah what the heck,i pulled this gem out and watched it again and some songs twice such as Red Bean,This woman whom now i believe (hope i am wrong) has retired to live shows and maybe recording has never ceased to amaze me,Nope, i am not a fayenatic ,AH BUT; i have seen her live back in the day,as well as many other Asian female artists,she certainly knows how to bring the house down or should i say Rock the house with her energetic style as apparent here in Taiwan, i down loaded the concert c.d. set on my 360 hard drive as well, this is THE Faye Wong all her fans know and love ,she looks a bit fragile when she slips while mingling with the crowd ,but the song selection ,sound and show is great , like the show i attended.
Most of my associates as well as my self have wives ,spouses or relatives,girlfriends whom are either Chinese,Korean ,or Japanese and i have a lot of connections in getting a lot of Asian material,that being said i have a Faye Wong collection as well as Boa,and some others,anyhow ,my associate gave me 2 Faye dvd's 1 from Tokyo,and another from China,the 1 from Tokyo,was not good ,good songs ,but she looks and sounded ,well ,not like Faye,kinda like Elvis before he passed in 77 ,he was looking rough in 75,Bottom line This is the real deal. April 17, 2008 excellent !!!!!!!!Hopefully ,this will replace my first review 2 weeks ago,referring to the edition with a vcd and not dvd,if not i will,be brief ,same basic review ,BUT !!!! this special edition has really ,made my month as # 1 ,yes to include over Boa, and all others ,not only was i ,100 % impressed in the mando,canto,k - and J-pop on this did i mention English AS WELL, but at 27 yrs.young ( i am in my early 40's) ??? anyhowze the Special edition ,really is a charm for all fans of music and Jang Nara, i am not sure whose idea it was to release THIS very nice version at a very reasonable price NOT 45.00 (clue) but for a little over 20 bucks not only do you get an all region dvd,But the photo book with the 3d glasses for 2 of the songs, But an actual Not Fake autograph on the front by Jang ,niceeeee... April 9, 2008 Good Concert,Is Boa Tired???Before i give my review on this i want to state a couple of things about myself ,as though i know some of you will not like or agree with what i am about 2 say..i have been involved in 2 things very fluently in my now rather different life with 4 diseases.i give my opinion like we all do,and try to be professional and a little humor when possible,i have been involved in music (singing ,performing etc.. since i was 12 ) i will be 40 or 50 soon (yeah right) i have been in law enforcement since i was 17 /military and civilian,so much for me: on with the review; i should have bought the chinese copy Much Cheaper ,Avex is way overpriced as always ...all of the songs had good backup Music ,dancers looked great ,backup singers Excellent,But; in many songs that Boa used to really, i mean REALLY dance and sing great at the same time , looked rather weak ,(flu;doubtful) very noticeable in the way she kinda stood around and chilled or got her breath in up tempo music like Make a Secret,Lose your Mind ..which if you look at her Concerts in 07 ;the same year she stated publicly ,she would be stepping down from performing,to go to college???? she really looks tired and it was very visible in this show,NOW; she isn't supposedly going to college ,but pursuing an acting career and releasing a U.S. Album ,note the word supposed .. hmmm i believe if the latter is true,( i doubt it) she will NOT be a big hit in the U.S. music wise her English is not that good at all.her christmas c.d. comes to mind there were 3 versions i believe came out in christmas 04 ,which i still have a problem ,(since i have spent a lot of money on this artist over the years for myself and associates).
i wish BOA all the best in anything she does ,but to state that there could possibly be an all english album soon in the U..S.A. is insane ..the young lady looks very tired she needs to follow her own advice and chill out for at least (AT LEAST) 6 months to a year she is only 21 in Nov.22 geez take a break allready,the ballads on this dvd were as always very good!!especially the song Merry Christmas that she released on the c.d. i referred to. in Korean ,that she has been doing in Japaneses for many years WHY; the Korean version is about 14 seconds shorter ,even the video is in Japanese??? i loved this dvd overall ,and would highly recommend it to any true Boa fan ,But; it is not as good as the other dvd Concerts released that very year in 07..AND more importantly i know she claims to love hip-hop artists,i hope she does not change her style to try to please record producers or U.S. Fans whom really don't even like asian Hip-Hop, the younger Boa fans i correspond with on at least 3 internet sites agree with me: please Boa stay true to yourself and GREAT style of dance and music.... April 9, 2008 Great Music,do not like VCD'SJang Nara is like a breath of fresh air for k-pop and c-pop fans (c-pop;meaning chinese) this 20ish young woman really has a great voice and demeanor to match a very nice set for the price,
with a good record label (Warner) unlike avex or sm ,you get quality material,now the bad news i thought VCD'S went out when thug rap hip artists were going to jail (inside joke) anyhowze this vcd i could not watch (any dvd,no prob.) is probably meant for that region in which released ,NONE for us american fans who spend lots of bucks monthly for their fave asian artists,the 2 c.d.'s were very good with a pop and ballad sound her chinese songs were also very good,another good release from Jang ,just wished SeoulRecords and Warner would have put the m.v.'s on a dvd Jang Nara is very classy and cute....Did you find this review helpful? March 26, 2008 Boa Fans You need rhis !!!If you have read any of my reviews on anything you know,i give my sincere honest opinion ,THIS is a Must buy no brainer for all boa fans young and old ,what i really like is how Yes Asia ,describes ,to a T.the contents of this 2 dvd set,just to see the hard work this 14 yr.old girl works to get her goal is Totally insane,you see her in abroad in at least England and New York,(where i lived a while ) in Brooklyn really working hard while fighting and stressing with a serious flu bug and homesickness,what a professional !!!!!a lot of footage and outtakes, a lot of my associates hate it when i say asian entertainers are the hardest non selfish in the world (fact) BoA..how they new at this early stage she would become an overnight sensation is beyond me. i think the 1 goal sm /avex tried to achieve ,fell somewhat flat;making her a household name in the U.S.;hopefully that will happen in the coming months,with the release of a U.S. album ..GREAT dvd set on a very charasmatic Superstar...20 stars

March 25, 2008 Nice Sound from 1 of the bestI was very happy to see Boa release a nice ballad again for a change of pace, allthough this could and should have been included with the Face c.d./dvd,or at least the song Precious,since B.W.Y. was allready in the c.d. and or dvd combo, i love BoA like a sister ,except she is a lot more beautiful, But avex and sm are milking consumers like cows off this young woman, just look at the list of singles (own em all) thanx to my teenage niece, korean and japanese, there is 2 much repetition on the last year or so of the material released on her c.d./dvd sets and then on a normal dvd for about 40 bucks or higher,yes,yes, i will be getting the Xmas dvd,just to get the other songs i missed from The Face dvd,same goes for the music videos in the Face dvd double set, i got the single recently dvd included .love the song (Lose Your Mind ) live and or video .BUT; once again same song 2 dvd's,1 is enough folks,maybe it's my law enforcement blood,thinking (how about this) 1 dvd ALL new songs,No repeats from previous yrs.and howze about a new Korean c.d. with all new songs,No then they couldn't get our hard earned money,BoA still rocks !! March 18, 2008 very well done...i have been a fan of asian music and actors male , and but mainly female since the mid 70's after that time i spent about 2 years each in china,japan and korea ,military and non military..
i must say i will probably say or call Kou Shibasaki; Mitsuko,until the day i die for her excellent acting in Battle Royale, i have respected her talent even more,when she started releasing dvd's and c.d.'s of her work,make no mistake; she is not Faye Wong or Boa in vocal range ,BUT;she has a very unique style all her own that is very nice on the eyes and ears ,this c.d. / dvd set ,really made my day when i received it today,this beautiful artist collection is WELL WORTH every penny,and i don't say that often ,her videos have a pleasant way about them (non violent) laid back quality,(and no hip-hop) and it it didn't hurt her cause or universal,that i can play the dvd collection on any of my many machines,since it was ntsc all region...NICE JOB KOU ,looking forward to any new work soon by this very talented actress/entertainer,KUDOS Kou Shibasaki!!!!Did you find this review helpful?
