Sentimental swordmen
| As the title of the movie implied, it is a real sentimental classical swordman show which combines swordplay, unpredictable plots and clear characters of the major role as played by Fu Sheng, Ti Lung, Derek Er, Ku Feng and others. Worth to add to your classical swordman shows. |

Worth add to collection
| This is one of those Swordplay film that typified the trade mark of Yuan Chuan, A little blood, a little romance, a little twist at the end,,,Ti Lung is Excellent as usual and almost all of Shaw major contract Players is in this film. The set is pretty but can use more shots outdoor to make it more realistic. The plot is decent nothing unpredictable, symbolized the egolistic nature of the martial world of this mythical time. Good flick.. |

Return of the sentimental swordsman
| Wow, what a great cast! Here, we can see the "sentimental" Ti Lung, "cold-blooded" Fu Sheng, "hopelessly in love" Derek Yee and Yue Hua, Liu Yong, Lo Lieh, Ching Li... This was the 100th movie by director Chu Yuan. Unfortunately, this Ku Lung's based novel had a rather weak plot and swordsplay wasn't that impressive. |
