레이코와 류지가 발견해낸 우물 속의 시체는 30년 전에 죽은 사다코. 그러나 부검결과 놀랍게도 불과 1, 2년 전에 죽은 것이라는 사실이 밝혀진다. 과연, 그 많은 시간동안 사다코의 죽지않은 시체는 우물 안에서 무엇을 하고 있었던 걸까...

의문의 죽음을 당한 류지 교수의 조교이자 연인이었던 마이는 그의 사인을 알아내기 위해 그의 전부인 레이코가 일하던 방송국을 찾아간다. 거기서 만난 레이코의 조수 오카자키를 통해 레이코가 '저주받은 비디오'에 대한 취재를 하고 있었다는 사실을 알게된다.

오카자키와 함께 그녀가 살던 집을 찾아가지만 불에 타 녹아서 일그러진 비디오테이프만 흉흉하게 남아있고 레이코와 아들 요이치는 종적을 찾을 수가 없다. 이제 류지 교수가 사다코의 시체를 발견할 당시 함께 있었던 레이코를 찾는 것만이 사건을 해결할 수 있는 유일한 단서가 되었다.

새롭게 제기되는 수수께끼같은 사건의 연속, 저주의 비디오는 점점 더 많은 사람들에게 조용하면서도 급속하게 복사되어 퍼져나가는데....

hello everyone, sorry this dvd's subtitle is in chinese but it can be play in American's regular dvd player or if you find other ones then it can also be played in a dvd that plays vcds.
