SAIKOU YO! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
ROM is undoubtedly one of the best new acts out of Japan, and their debut hit Taisetsu na mono was a welcome delight, topping top 40 lists throughout Japan for months on end. The rest of the album is equally fantastic, with tracks ranging from hard-rocking, fun punk to sweetly sentimental. Lead vocal Kitagawa can go from a sigh to a scream in a heartbeat, and the power he puts behind each song shows the affection he has for the lyrics (most of which he wrote). Bassist Matsumoto (who always wears a smile) and guitarist Kondo show amazing creativity and are clearly masters of the strings. Uehara's drumming is precise and inventive--adding beats while never losing the timing. The band melds together so perfectly (even the background "woahs" and "ooos" are in harmony)that this album is a must--perfect for dreary day pick-me-ups or crusing with your friends!

Awsome debute Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great starting point for an emerging band. every song on this album is great for a punk rock band. a song that is unique from the ohters is "yume ou i hito", seems a little like what glay would do. there is one song that is not one of their greatest is track 12, maybe because the only instrument is a piano, not that there is anything wrong with that. fortunatly, all of the other songs make up for it. adding on to these, the great songs are "Zassou," "Boku ra da ke no uta," "Tai setsu na mo no," "Kimi ga ta me," "row, row, row," and just about all of the other songs on the album. live long, keep strong, and don't die in your sleep!
