Latest Film
| To be honest, when I saw on imdb.com, I wanted to see this film because they wrote it would be Jacky Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Biao. However, I was disappointed when the cast is Michael Hui, and Louis Koo. But I saw some of the film and I liked it. Finally, Jacky Chan has a film that would be the guy who is able to do anything and the hero. The film is mostly a good story that some criminal do have morals. I love the baby, no doubt, the film's star is Baby Matthew. One thing though, you don't feel that Louis Koo's personality (both film and reality) likes baby that much. Maybe his face doesn't look like one. |

Thoroughly enjoyable movie !
| I approached the movie with very low expectations - given the traumatic experiences I had been through in the last few years with some all-time cinematic flops such as The Myth, Around the World in 80 Days, Medallion, The Tuxedo, etc. I think you get the drift. Anyway, the good news is that Rob-B-Hood deserves to be grouped with the likes of the Police Story & Project-A series given its good mix of comedy, action & drama. True, Jackie is not as agile as he used to be in his heyday, but some of the action choreography here are really pretty damn impressive, more so when you consider that they are performed by a 52 year old. For entertainment value, this is a real crowd-pleaser from start to finish, and Jackie gets good support from co-stars Louis Koo, Michael Hui, Yuen Biao, Teresa Carpio among others. Last but not least, the baby concept really works in the movie - culminating in this being Jackie's best effort in the last decade, without a doubt !! |

Another HK's Jacky Movie....

Another of HK flick full of action,humour,sadness and happiness except this time it involved a baby.I think the star of the show is the baby himself who is so adorable who is of various mixture parentage. As for Jacky himself,he's not as swift and fast as compared to his younger days but he can still perform some of the daring stunts.As for Louis Koo and Michael Hui,they aren't too bad here. The movie plot is just average.However,this is still an enjoyable family show kind of thing. |
