Having received vocal training under veteran singer Teresa Carpio and then at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Canto-pop newcomer Philip Wei is guaranteed to have a solid foundation in singing. This promising new talent is releasing his debut mini-album Romance in summer 2009. It contains 4 original songs in the Linda Chung duet "Love Hurts" (composed by Jay Chou), the karaoke favorite "I'm Afraid of Loneliness Too" (plus its remix version), his debut single "You Don't Know How to Love Me", and the latest plug "Marriage" (composed by Taiwan singer-songwriter Phil Chang). Undaunted by challenges, Philip also covers Hins Cheung's recent hit "Under the Cherry Blossom Tree" and Jacky Cheung's classic "If Only I Could Live with You for a Single Day" for the album.
