July 14, 2009 Awesome movie.Best Korean movie I've seen in years. This movie made me laugh, cry, happy, and mad!
Going into the theaters to watch this movie, I had NO IDEA what this movie was about.
All I know was that Cha Tae Hyun was in it.
When I came out, the one thought in my head was that I needed to buy the DVD when it comes out. It's just so good. Although Cha Tae Hyun is one of the best in Korea, I think Park Bo Young outshined him in this movie. Her acting was superb. That one scene just made my heartache, I almost wanted to get up and help her myself. Storyline was great, I just wish they made the movie longer.

July 14, 2009 Worth it.After much anticipation, I was satisfied.
1. Tell Me Your Wish (Genie): Although it's not the 'hook' type of song, I find this song to be pretty addicting. I absolutely love the adlib from Taeyeon and Tiffany in this song. This song gives a very different feel from all the other SNSD's hit songs. Definitely more mature. Now all I need is some rapping.
2. Etude: I wasn't too fond of this song at first, but after a few more listens and watching the performance. I realized the cuteness is not as overwhelming as "Kissing You". I like it now. I actually find it refreshing, makes me happy when I listen to it.
3. Girlfriend: Beginning kind of threw me off. I didn't even listen to the whole song, but after a while I decided to give it another chance. It's not bad, my favorite part if "stupid stupid". Jessica's voice is just lovely.
4. Boyfriend: Oh god. The beginning of this song threw me off even MORE. I was like WHOA, IS THAT MAKNAE???? Didn't sound like Tiffany or Jessica, but the english was pretty right on, so I assume it's our lovely Maknae Seohyun. They WOULD pick her to say those lines. Fail. But I soon got over it. Now I love the song. Want to know why? Just listen to it.
5. My Child: This song is good for certain occasions in your life. When I listen to this song I feel like I'm at Disney World. Extremely fairly tale like, I feel like a little kid and I just want to sing along. And knowing that the "children's voices" are actually the SNSD members put a smile on my face too.
6. 1 Year Later: I expected alot from this song, because I absolutely adore Sexica, oh I mean Jessica. Although Onew is a good singer, I don't think his voice matches Jessica's. I wish they picked someone else. Maybe like..Xiah? Or Jonghyun? I don't know. I only like the Jessica parts in this song. January 8, 2009 Everything I expected & more!There is absolutely nothing mini about this album!
Album was the best thing to start off the year 2009!
The title song "Gee" literally swept the fans (me) off their feet, and the music video made me squeal because it was oozing with cute yet sexy outfits, dance moves, and facial expressions!
The cd has a 40+ pages of pictures of these 9 pretty girls, it was WAY WORTH the buy!
If you even have a TINY bit of interest in the girls this is a MUST buy, because it will turn that tiny bit of interest into LOVE!
All 5 songs have it's own different feel and it is sure to suit anyone's taste. These girls have really shined again through this mini album, and I am already looking forward to their next full album!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
