I Don't Get It (??) Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
A mediocre K-drama. After all the hype and good press this received, I found it very average, un-engaging and a bit unfocused. I didn't connect with the characters and therefore have not 'invested' anything emotionally into what happens to them. If it's 'brilliant' or 'groundbreaking', I have yet to discover why.

very boring...and long...... Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
I didn't like this series at all. I tried my hardest to keep my eyes awake to finish the series but it was so boring that I stopped watching it after the 3rd disc. This was one of the most boring movie ever and the actor and actress wasn't very attractive either so I'm glad I didn't buy this movie; I only borrowed it.

this is what dramas should be! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
i've watched tons of dramas since i was young. but this is the best. there's no major actor in this drama. no Cinderella waiting for prince. every character is ordinary but has amazing heart!i felt sympathy what they saying in this drama.
i deeply touched by yang dong gun(bok su). he's the most atrractive guy i've ever seen even though he has ugly face, hahaha^^

Among The Best We've Seen Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
My wife and I been watching Korean soaps almost continuously for the past three years (thanks to YesAsia.com) and we both agree that this is among the most enjoyable of the many we've seen. Even though it contained all the standard, and by now rather cliche, K-soap plot-devices (e.g. love triangle, terminal illness), at least they were presented in a slightly different (and fresher) way than expected. Kong Hyo-jin (Mi-Rae) is always fun to watch and did a particularly fine job of the spurned lover. Yang Dong-geun (Bok-Su) was a real surprise; the range and quality of his performance was quite amazing. I'll be keeping an eye out for him in the future. And, even though Lee Na-Young's (Kyung) performance didn't match the other two for depth, this was made up by the chemistry generated between her character and Bok-Su. I really enjoyed watching their scenes together. This drama was well worth the price I paid for it; which is not something I can say about all the Korean dramas that I've watched.

Worth Watching! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This drama is not your typical drama...it really depicts real life situations surrounding "real" people. There's no rich heir to a company (which is definitely overused in dramas...popular, but overused), there's no weak/naive lady waiting for her prince charming to wisk her off her feet. This drama centers around serious issues of the negative side of life, the ups and downs, and how the Ko Bok-su struggles with life and finds happiness despite his reputation and sickness. His positive attitude, and quircky sense of humor definitely warms the hearts of everyone around him.

Quite boring actually.... Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I just finished watching this drama and it felt so long and boring. I was longing for the end to come. The main actor did a good job portraying Ko-Bok-Su, however. There is no chemistry between Bok-Su and Lee Na Young. Not a big fan of Lee Na Young; don't think she can act very well. In comparison, I'm Sorry I Love You is more entertaining and touching than this drama.

Ruler of K-Dramas!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Unique to the overcrowded genre of Korean Melodramas, this series definitely stands separate from others. Not just the plot, but the acting was marvelous. Yang Dong Geun and Lee Na-Young defintely shines in their performance. Those who are familiar with Korean dramas (and the stereotypical melodramatic plots)would understand how unique and different this series is. Although some might perceive this to be a slow paced drama, others will appreciate the inert and beautifully conceived meaning of the characters' relationships, their struggles, and the their transformations throughout the series. I especially found Ko Bok Su's character very moving. He shows that one man's search for redemption can be accomplished unwittingly and with simplicity. The title "Ruler of Your Own World," very much suits this series, as those who watch it will have a profound understanding of how it is so. Great drama!!

not that great Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
compared to other k dramas, this one is just "ok". Nothing special and nothing exciting. IMO, Lee Na Young is not a good actor.
