Johnny's idol Nakayama Yuma stars in the 2009 KTV drama special Samurai Tenkosei. Appearing his second leading role after Battery, Nakayama plays hard-headed ninth grader Yuta, who is the captain of his junior high school kendo team. After losing a duel with new student Shimura, Yuta transfers to a different school and gives up kendo. Inspired by his grandfather, a kendo master, Yuta begins practicing kendo again and earns the second chance to face his former team at a competition. This edition comes with the Director's Cut version of Samurai Tenkosei which is approximately five minutes longer than the broadcast version. Also comes with 17-minute making of.
