Dribble, rebound, and shot a three pointer in SANDLOT BASKETBALL, a basketball game for the entire family by Vivendi Games for the XBOX. The game includes a large variety of players, courts, two different game play modes, and even some power ups and fun moves that make SANDLOT BASKETBALL more than just the usual sports game. The game includes 18 different kids to use to create a team of five. Each of these kids has his or her own unique personality and playing style, and players will want to learn each of the kid's styles so they can effectively choose kids whose styles work well together. The kids can also benefit from power ups and execute some powerful, if zany, moves can quickly turn the tide of the game. There are two different gameplay modes: classic, in which players play a full four quarters, and street ball, where the game ends when one team hits 21. Another interesting option in SANDLOT BASKETBALL is the fact that the losing team can trade out players at half time. This means that the game isn't over until the very last second. There are six different courts to play on, including a farm, a suburban area, a run down lot, and the inner city. Each of these courts has its own distinctive look and feel to it. These fun areas, amusing kids, and crazy power ups combine in SANDLOT BASKETBALL to create a game that's fun for everyone.
