Rookies star Hayato Ichihara plays a silver-haired teen lock-picking prodigy in the 2009 NTV mini-series Saru Lock. Based on Naoki Serizawa's manga, Saru Lock is about a locksmith's son and unremarkable high school student who uses his lock-picking skills to help crack cases with his police officer friend played by Rookies teammate Takaoka Sousuke. The drama also co-stars Ashina Sei (Bloody Monday) and Watabe Gota (Hotaru no Hikari). As a follow-up to the TV drama, NTV is releasing a Saru Lock film in February 2010.
Comes with a 24-page booklet and a bonus disc containing making of, interview, non-credit ending, and Saru Lock movie teaser.
