June 17, 2009 A Worthy AlbumI am surprised that Charlene released a solo album, because I thought she will be waiting for Gillian. The album is very different from Twins' albums, because the songs are not as cheerful and dancing. Charlene always describes her album as "moody" and I agree with her. There are more sadness in the songs. It might relates to the temporary split with Gillian. "Two Missing One", especially the Mandarin version, is a very great song to represent Twins' situation. Charlene definitely can express the emotion through this song. "I'm Sorry" is not a bad song, but somehow I don't like the yelling towards the end. I love that this album included "Little Dimple," because it has a very sweet melody. The songs for "Butterfly Lovers" have a sadness tone. They're very sentimental. Yes, it's not orginal because you can tell by the title. This movie is like the old version of "Butterfly Lovers" plus "Romeo and Juliet." The language of the movie is kind of inappropriate because there are many curse words. It's kind of hard to imagine those actors saying them constantly. Janice has improved in this album. All the tracks are great to listen and have a nice and sweet melody. I highly recommend this album. I especially love these songs: "My Cookie Can," "Doesn't Matter," "The Lead Loves Me," and "If This World Doesn't Have Fantasy." Great job, Janice! Did you find this review helpful? I think Ken's singing have improve a lot. So I think he will become success in the music industry. I think "GO!" brings the other side of Ken. "Love.Gutless" makes me think him as naive and shy boy. This time it makes me think he is getting mature. I especially like the song "You're My Ring" because the lyrics is meaningful & the feelings he brings makes one feels real. February 29, 2008 Perfect !I would like to indicate that Twins' Mandarin had improve in this album. I like all the songs because it is meaningful especially the songs that were written for Charlene's mom & Gillian's grandpa. The collaboration with Jay Chou was excellent. The tune is catchy and fun to listen to. This album is a MUST BUY especially you're a Twins fan. I hope everyone will continue to support Twins even after this big scandal. September 30, 2007 Love !!This movie teaches young people & parents a lesson. This movie is very touching and easy to understand. Some teens might have gone through this stage in life. Fiona's acting was great! I wasn't expecting that great work from her since it was her second movie after all. Fiona had surprised me in this movie. She is a great actress. Jaycee is the same. July 21, 2007 My OpinionsWhen I first heard Ken Hung's "Love.Gutless", I didn't quite like the song because he was not singing nor talking. However, when I listen to all the songs from his CD, my thoughts about his singing change. What I like about his singing was that he can sing the lyrics clearly. I was able to listen to all the words he was singing without looking at the lyrics. As a newcomer, he isn't bad but just need a little more improvements. Did you find this review helpful? Stephy still needs improvement with her LIVE performance. When I heard Stephy singing LIVE in JSG, the voice is different with the CD. I think the story line is like Cinderella but it is much more tragic. Both the main characters act very good but I dislike the crying scenes in every episode. If you are a very sensitive person then prepare yourself with at least 3 boxes of tissues. Believe me because there are crying and sad scenes in every episode there is. It just kind of confuses me while watching. The movie is fuuny when you see the ladybug. Jan Lam's voice is cute for the voice Cootchie, the ladybug. I liked the computer graphics that the movie had especially when you see the bugs dancing & singing. The movie is pointness. Isabella acted weird, Wilson did a good job, Twins was okay even though Ah Sa barely has a major part, Boy'z I think Kenny did better than Steven, & the bugs were cute. Overall, this movie was a disappointment because I thought that Isabella acted good since she got nominated in Germany's Film Awards(Don't know what the actual name of the event)but this movie didn't prove it to me. January 18, 2007 Different But it's Awesome !!!Fiona's CDs' normally contains mostly slow songs. However, Electric Angel is something that is a bit different. I was expecting the same when I first got the CD but when I listen to all the songs, I was like "Wow !". I love most of the songs in the album. I know I didn't say "all" but I am still Fiona's fan. It just that some of the songs I didn't like was because of the lyrics or music but I love Fiona's voice & her singing. This album still worth a "10" because I like how Fiona tries a new type of music because some thinks trying new things might lose fans but it totally didn't lose me. The album is very success in my opinion. I love the song "Mini Sugar Dumpling"/"Tong Bat Lat" & "Mini Canyon of 1234". Both of the songs are different from what Fiona normally sings. The music & the melody are very catchy & make me want to sing & dance. The lyrics are easy to follow. You should buy this CD if you are Fiona's fan. November 28, 2006 luv & hateoverall the movie isn't that good because it's pointless. i don't understand the meaning at the end. suddenly the ending has all the main cast saying "happy chinese new year". what?! i didn't know that it was for chinese new year...i mean it's pretty violent in some parts. chinese new year should be happy, even though, this movie is a comedy but still it's not very good. i what i love about this movie is charlene's & gillian's kung fu. i think their kung fu is pretty cool & looks real. teresa mo look crazy in the movie but her craziness aren't that funny. i think ekin's funniness is very good. he did a very good job. why does ekin & charlene acts as a couple all the time ? i mean can't they give a bit more surprise? why can't they try gillian with ekin, maybe that will create a different chemistry than always ah & ekin. the movie has some luv & hate parts... November 28, 2006 Sad But Still GoodAt the beginning of the movie, charlene plays a part that she has cancer & looking for a funeral for herself. i didn't expect what will happen at the end. but it was a shocking surprise to me. i don't want to spoil the ending for anyone but the ending was very heartbroken. i luv the movie, even though, it was very tragic. it's another movie that you can watch with your most loved ones. please buy it if you have not or have not seen. share the movie with the people you love & care because it tells you to be with them because if not you might regret forever.
