CPとは、脳性麻痺"Cerebral Palsy"の頭文字。社会の片隅でひっそりと暮らすことを拒否し、あえて不自由な体で街頭行動を起こして人々に主張する道を選んだCP者団体「青い芝の会」。その急進的活動の姿に残酷なまでに正面から迫った意欲作である。ドキュメンタリーの極北を行く原一男の原点といえる、監督第1作目。
