First Japanese Concert
| Se7en has been in the music industry not too long and already gain a lot of popularity in Japan. This concert attracted 12000 people in one arena and showed his best performing a language that he has studied. Se7en is a true live singer, and also have great dance moves that attract peoples attention. I really enjoyed watching his performance, especially interacting with the audience as well which is great to see fans enjoying it. I must have to give it a 10 because his true great performer. |

Se7en is such an incredible live performer, you'll watch it and you won't want to stop. All the songs are great but in the end, 3 encore songs are performed and I just loved that last part the most. I also love the backstage clips, you get to see everything being put together and then it really hits you how much work and effort is put into a Se7en concert. As a little bonus you also get a Se7en photobook and photo card. All in all, I really loved this DVD. I live half way across the world so I couldn't attend the concert. This was the next best thing and I feel I got my money's worth. I think this is something fans and non fans will enjoy :) |

Before I start my rant, let me first suggest that to really enjoy this DVD, you should have an all-region DVD player. Of course, your computer will be able to play it if you change a few settings, but I think it is best to watch this on your big TV set in all its full glory. And don't try burning an all-region DVD off of it either because the DVD is dual layer and burned dual-layer copies always play horribly on your average DVD player. OK, now time to rant: True, you might just want to buy Se7en's Korean merchandise because his Japanese stuff is so unbelievably expensive, but as an avid collector of Se7en's merchandise, I've found that my favorite Se7en items are all from Japan. They may be more expensive, but the products are of such good quality that at the end of the day, you feel they deserve every bit you've paid. First off, yesasia made an error in the DVD description: THIS DVD IS WIDESCREEN - ENHANCED FOR 16X9 TELEVISIONS. It is NOT 4:3 aspect ratio like yesasia claims it to be. This, by far, was the most welcome surprise to me because most concert DVDs are recorded in 4:3 aspect ratio but I'm glad that these cameramen are finally getting with the program. My only complaint is that the camera changes angles frequently at some points and often fails to capture some of Se7en's awesome footwork. Next, it also includes a very nice photobook -- a collection of pictures from his concert. And lastly, a small card with Se7en's picture on it (think pokemon or sailormoon card except it's Se7en). But yes, the DVD itself is of top quality. Hear this: it runs at a total of 125 minutes!! THAT"S OVER 2 HOURS OF CONCERT FOOTAGE. Se7en looks gorgeous-- he no longer sports the 80's mullet hair (::shudders::), and instead has reverted to his older, more innocent and cute look with slightly longer, wavy hair and bangs. He does not lipsynch at all, and stays on perfect tune I'd say about 85-90% of the time, and remember this is WHILE he's dancing. There are some parts of the concert where he looks extremely tired and sweaty, and you might be thinking "EW" but trust me, nobody looks hotter than Se7en when he's all sweaty. He has plenty of costumes, all of which I love (seriously, some of these costumes are prettier than ones I've seen at Britney's concert). In summary, if you want to dish out ~45 dollars on a concert DVD from Japan, make this one it because Se7en is by far the best live performer of today. |

To Daiquiri's Are Always Cool: Just wanted to say thankyou for indirectly introducing me to Rain ;D (being a se7en fan, I figured you had good taste so I went to see what other singers you liked and, as I suspected, Rain turned out to be absolutely AWESOME ^O^) Imo, you're the best reviewer ^^ so, thankyou, and keep up the good work!! (^___^)b Now, as to this DVD... well I must say I'm definitely looking forward to it :D especially judging from the clips they had up on youtube of one of the concerts.... SE7EN'S THE BEST!!! I was kinda hesitant to getting it before, cos I don't think his Japanese singles are that good, but once I heard the other songs on his album (aka First Se7en) I was like OMG OMG OMG :O :O :O!!!! Puzzle, Red Voice, Last of Diary... Some of the songs on it are even better than the ones on 24/7 which is saying something, because I generally think his Korean songs are 10 times better than his Japanese ones ^O^;; Plus, he looks extremeeeely cute. :) I like his hairstyle in this heaps better than the mullet-thing he had before... >___> Now if only they would release a live DVD of his Korea performances, it would be li3k the best thing evaR. And his repackage album doesn't count, cos that's only a couple of songs D:< |
