Jay Chou excelled in directing but fell a bit short on the acting aspect. The music and filming brought a very unique and warming atmosphere. Many people go into relationships without experiencing these type of true feelings. Guey Lun Mei did an near perfect job on her acting, all the emotions were played out just right. Although this movie seemed simple, but the fundamental romantic theme that it creates is something that nearly everyone desires. 21st century, sadly the word relationship and love is some what altered in many forms. How is it possible for humans in this century find true relationship when their mind is controlled through materialism. While the world focuses on mainly appearance and casual encounters, movies like "Secret" remind us or make us double think what a relationship really means to us. |
