Sengoku Musou Moushou Den (Japan Version)

YesAsia Editorial Description

Sengoku Musou (known as Samurai Warriors in the US) explores the dramatic era after 1467 when the Ashikaga Shogunate collapsed in a succession dispute and Japan erupted into major wars. This latest title Sengoku Musou Moushouden (known as Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends in the US) is an expansion disc for the original title. This game will feature four new playable characters including Hashiba Hideyoshi, Imagawa Yoshimoto, Honda Tadakatsu, and Inahime Morimasa. The game also includes a brand new stage, the epic battle at Komakinaga. Moushouden also adds a new weapon to the arsenal and more difficulty levels (Heaven and Hell) as well as challenge mode, encyclopedia mode, and unlimited dungeons mode. This game also offers two player cooperative and competitive modes as well as broadband support with the HDD only.

Honda Tadakatsu & Inahime Morimasa- Two Newly Added Characters

The tactical hack-and-slasher game series Sengoku Musou comes back with four new warriors, namely Hashiba Hideyoshi, Imagawa Yoshimoto, Honda Tadakatsu, and Inahime Morimasa, in the new edition Sengoku Musou Moushouden. Here we present the latest information on Honda Tadakatsu and Inahime Morimasa, the pair of father and daughter, and of course on the gameplay features such as the challenge mode and the training school.

Honda Tadakatsu The Valiant General
Honda Tadakatsu
Having made his entry into war at the age of 13, Honda Tadakatsu won a record of fighting fifty successful battles in a row with no major injury. Dubbed as one of the four samurais of Tokugawa together with Sakikabara Yasumasa, Kato Kiyomasa and Kuroda Kanbe, this first-rate warrior may still shine his way through this game.

Fighting domineeringly with his pike
Honda Tadakatsu is skilled at launching large-scale attacks with his pike. Equally matched with Maeda Keiji, Honda Tadakatsu appears as one overbearing fighter since he is considered as the physically strongest among the fifteen characters.

The attack of one single arrow after the triumph in Tsubazeriai
Inahime
With Honda Tadakatsu as her father and Tokuguwa Ieyasu her foster father, Inahime Morimasa (a.k.a Komatsuhime) is married to Sanada Nobuyuki. She was once clad in armor and fought against Sanada Masayuki to protect the domain of his husband from the invasion led by Sanada Masayuki and Sanada Yukimura. The glory of this courageous female warrior is so well kept in the many anecdotes about her great accomplishments.

Forestall Attacks at Long Distance
Good at shooting arrows, Inahime Morimasa never misses any enemies however far they are. This charge combo is, however, not efficient enough to make massive destruction. It can only become a plus in the battles when used as a successive hit together with Charge 1. Inahime Morimasa is therefore a character most suitable for veterans in this series.

There would just be some intense battles going on in such a close arena.
A Solid Challenge Mode
"Sumo" and "duel" are among the 3 newly-added items in challenge mode. Fight it out with your friends!

Sumo
In this stage the battlefield is turned into a sumo setting. Not much detail on the fighting rules but the victory would probably go to the first one succeeding in pushing the opponent out of the setting. Let's see if characters looking like sumo players would be available for us!

Traps are everywhere in the arena!
Duel
This stage is an one-on-one battle where you have to knock out the opponent to win the competition. Keep an eye on the terrain of the setting which hides quite a lot of nasty traps.

Get ready to get gold bullion when mission is accomplished!
Training School
"Training School" is a new challenge mode supplementary to the "Infinity City". Here there are four items, namely "re-challenge," "forging weapons," "engraving weapons" and "buying props". You have to win gold bullion along the game so as to have your weapons forged and strengthen or enrich your arsenal. These bullion would only come when you knock out one opponent or fulfil one mission. With them, you can re-visit any battlefields you want and train your character into the ultimate champion.
