Seo Tai Ji & Boys Vol. 4 - Come Back Home (Repackage Album)

All of K-pop icon Seo Tai Ji's early out-of-print albums are being re-released, starting from his classic Seo Tai Ji & Boys albums all the way to his seventh release! The first two Seo Tai Ji & Boys repackage reissues released in April were both big sellers in Korea, and now the third and fourth albums are hitting shelves in May.

Originally released in 1995, Seo Tai Ji & Boys Vol. 4 - Come Back Home was a testament to how much influence the group's music had over the youth generation. Their gangster rap title song Come Back Home actually convinced many runaway teens of the time to return home. When "Regret of the Times" was almost banned, fans raised a strong protest that eventually led to the abolishment of the pre-censorship system in 1996. This album also includes classic hits like the funky rap and rock number Pilseung, the R&B-style Good Bye, and the group's self-referential cut Taiji Boys.

The 2009 remastered repackage edition of Seo Tai Ji & Boys Vol. 4 - Come Back Home comes with the album's ten original tracks, plus three live and remix hidden tracks from the limited edition Seo Tai Ji 15th Anniversary set released in 2007.

서태지와 아이들 3,4집 음반이 오는 5월 22일(금) 재발매 된다. 지난 4월 재발매된 서태지와 아이들 1,2집 음반을 시작으로 순차적으로 서태지 7집까지 재발매가 진행될 예정이며 이번에는 3,4집을 재발매 하는 것이다.

발매 직후부터 약 3주 간에 걸쳐 각종 온라인 음반 판매 차트에서 나란히 판매순위 1,2위를 차지했던 지난 4월 발매된 서태지와 아이들 1, 2집은 현재 초도 물량이 완판된 상황이다. 발매 된지 17여 년이 지난 1,2집 음반들이 지금 2009년에도 높은 판매량을 보이고 있는 것은 그만큼 서태지의 음반들이 '소장가치 높은 음반' 이라는 것이 입증된 셈이다.

이번에 재발매 되는 3,4집은 통일과 교육의 메시지를 담은 3집 '교실이데아', 그리고 가출 청소년들의 발걸음을 집으로 돌리게 한 것으로 당시 큰 화제가 되었던 4집 '컴백홈' 이며, 재발매 수순을 밟는 1-7집 모든 음반이 그러하듯 서태지의 완벽을 기하는 정교한 리마스터링과정을 거쳤기에 월등히 향상된 사운드로 만나볼 수 있다.

또한 [&] 서태지 15주년 기념 앨범에 추가로 수록되었던 리믹스, 라이브 음원 등이 각 재발매 음반에 보너스 트랙으로 담기게 된다.

5월 21일(목) 재발매 되는 서태지와 아이들 3,4집은 다음날인 22일부터 전국의 온.오프라인 매장에서 판매가 시작될 예정이다. 한편 서태지는 현재 전국투어 [2009 SEOTAIJI BAND LIVE TOUR 'The Mobius'] 준비에 한창이며, 8집 활동을 총 정리하는 두 달여 간의 대장정이 6월 13일 용산 전쟁기념관을 시작으로 그 서막이 열린다.
