YesAsia Editorial Description

It's been five years since suave Japanese Security Bureau agent Lam (Tony Leung Chiu Wai) tore through Tokyo, and now he's back in Seoul Raiders! Directed by Jingle Ma (Tokyo Raiders, Fly Me to Polaris), the film brings Lam to Seoul, hot on the tail of turncoat CIA agent Owen (Richie Jen), who stole "The Avenger", a set of flawless counterfeiting plates designed to wreak havoc on the US economy. Joining Lam are three new female assistants (Choi Yeo-Jin, Cho Soo-Hyn, and Cho Han-Na), as well as JJ (Shu Qi), a female cat burglar who's after the plates too. With Korean gangster Black Bear (James Kim) also in the mix, Lam must contend with multiple bad guys trying to stop him - or worse, mess up his hair! Can Lam stay ahead of the gangsters, find Owen, and still look good doing it?

Set amidst Seoul's clean urban cityscape, Seoul Raiders features the same winning mixture of dapper, tongue-in-cheek comedy and energetic action sequences as the original Tokyo Raiders! Tony Leung Chiu Wai returns with his unparalleled screen charisma, and Richie Jen and Shu Qi are perfect foils to Leung's suave, too-cool international spy. Full of non-stop action and comedy, Seoul Raiders is what Lunar New Year Hong Kong movies are all about: big stars, big laughs, big action, and plenty of crowd-pleasing fun!

Awesome Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was a really good film. It's kinda like a martial arts version of James Bond, but with a wicked comedy streak.

If you like martial arts and you like a bit of comedy (think early Jackie Chan) then this if definately worth a watch.

Tony Leung absolutely rocks.

Pretty good but not yet finish Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I thought that this movie was pretty good. I think the moive had a great cast. The story line was pretty good too. In the end though, they really didn't seem like they put much thought into the moive. The moive falls short on time. It wasn't long enough. The story of the characters could have been developed more. The story line could have been extened way more. There should have been more fights scences. At the end of the moive. There was a plane that crashed into barrels of water. I thought the graphics on that explosition was really bad. It looked so 90's. I thought they should have changed that scence a bit to make it look better. Hey, what wasn't there suppose to be four girls on the team and not three girls. If you look at the cover there is one more girl holding a gun behind Lam. Was she even in the moive? The ending could have showed what happened to the characters when they left the airport. Did JJ get with owan? I don't know because they didn't show us. What happened with the rest of the team too? Did the three girls get to do something else? What about the main charactor Lam? I guess they will show us something in part 3, but they should have said something at the end. That will have made the moive better. But, all and all, the moive is still good enough to watch.

HilAriou Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Seoul Raiders was so much better than the first Tokyo Raiders. With more funny plots and scenes it made the movie more interesting and a lot more hilarious. What caught my eye was the actor who played the bad guy "Black Bear" he was pretty cute!!
