awesome album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm new to sg wannabe, but i've already listened to all their albums. I must say that their music is awesome, I like their voices and the way they sing. For some reason, the more I listen to this 5th album, the more I like it. This album is a little bit different from the others, I guess mainly because of the more upbeat songs. One of my favorites song is track 9 "how to love"...I also like "Kiss" and "Happy". By the way, my favorite member is Kim Jinho...but i like all of them. I wish DongHa would have stayed with them, but the new guy sounds good too, they picked a very nice replacement. I wish them good luck and already expecting their next album.

I have been following through most of their albums and must say that they are really good. If you're new to them, do not hesitate to give it a try, there'll be no regrets.

I'm writing my review while listening to the CD for the first time, something that I have never done before. I'm so glad that Sg Wannabe has added a wonderful new member, Lee Seok Hoon. His voice is magnetic, soothing and masculine. He brings maturity and diversities to the group. Of course I miss Dong Ha a great deal because he has such a special and wonderful voice, and creating such chemistry with the old group which made them so unforgettable and almost legendary. I'm now embracing the new Sg Wannabe as well because they have proven that talented and gifted singers with the best vocal skills can do any genre of music and they still sound wonderful.

Just finished listening to the CD right now. My 5 stars iTune favorites are 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 14. Don't let the country style songs scare you away. Even though you might not like its style like I'm, but the vocals are just great. There are only two country style tracks I believe. The new Sg Wannabe has diversified into other genres that are jazzy and more pop as well, while retained some of the old ones. Get this album to see for yourself!

I wish continuing success to the new Sg Wannabe and Dong Ha!

Excellent! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
When i first heard this album, my first thought was "WOW! It feels so refreshing!" Because this album shows a different side of SG Wanna Be. Of course, with the addition of the new singer, Lee Suk Hoon. Like many other SG Wanna Be fans, i was shocked that Cha Dong Ha decided to leave the group. At the same time, i was really curious as to who would replace him, in terms of vocals,looks and so on. Glad to say, the New Sg Wanna Be did an excellent job on this album! Not forgetting other people behind this album such as the Producers,Composers and other people behind the scenes. Kudos to them. Lee Suk Hoon did justice by replacing Cha Dong Ha and i feel he will go far. Overall, i'll always support each member of Sg Wanna Be irregardless of whether they're still in the group. This album potrays Sg Wanna Be's beautiful harmonies, strong vocals and a different side of them. Buy it! If you haven't already! All the best to Cha Dong Ha and SG Wanna Be Hwating! Saranghae!

They're still SG Wannabe even though Chae Dong Ha has left the group, Lee Suk Hoon has made a nice replacement. Before this album was released, I was afraid of the replacement of Dongha since I kept wondering who could perfectly fit in SG Wannabe, this person must be a very good singer with an amazing vocal. I was very sad when Dongha left but I think Lee Suk Hoon somehow has made it up for me. I'm pretty satisfied with his entrance in the group and presenting his voice in the 5th SG Wannabe album "My friend". Lee Suk Hoon's voice goes very nicely and smoothly with the other two Yong Jun and Jinho. Jinho is my favorite in the group with his powerful and totally unique voice but Lee Suk Hoon proves that he could be as good as Jinho with a different voice in a soft, smooth country style that slightly brings a new sound in SG Wannabe music.

When this album was first announced to be released, I immediately made a pre-order since I'm in love with the "SGWB music" (this is how I name their music). I thought maybe the music was just the same, just so typical SGWB, slow, sweet, romantic, and slightly sad ballads sung by the most beautiful voices of today's K-pop generation. I didn't really care since that's how SGWB is and that's what makes them wonderful. However, "My friend" actually shows a new SGWB, not completely, but in some ways SGWB has put a little bit of a new "spice" in their music. Traditionally, SGWB music rather sounds sad, quite emotional and sensational and most of them are love stories. As a foreign listener (for I do not speak fluent Korean), my opinion for this album is that it has started a light in me when I listen to it. The song "Lalala" really makes me smile and I just love it. The new voice of Lee Suk Hoon really amazed me. Other great tracks that I'm totally in love with are 3. "sarang ha ni kka", 7. "Kiss", 8. "Yuh bo se yo", 11. Happy!, 13. Ee toh rok ah reum da oon"...

A very highly recommandation for SG Wannabe fans, also K-pop lovers and anyone who just starts to get to know about Korean music. This album has made my day when I received it from Yesasia. I'm really excited for more SGWB songs.
