3인조 남성그룹 SG워너비가 13개월 만에 6집 앨범으로 컴백한다.

2004년 1집 ‘Timeless’로 데뷔한 SG워너비는 2집의 ‘죄와 벌’, ‘살다가’, 3집 ‘내 사람’, 4집 ‘아리앙’, 5집의 ‘라라라’까지 매 발매 앨범마다 성공을 거두며 최고의 가창력으로 인정을 받아왔다. SG워너비란 뜻은 ‘Simon and Garfunkel Wannabe’의 줄임말로 존경하는 ‘사이먼 앤 가펑클과 같은 가수가 되고 싶다’는 멤버들의염원을 담고 있다. SG워너비는 다음 주 중으로 6집 정규 앨범을 발표한다. 이번 앨범 타이틀곡은 ‘사랑해’. SG워너비의 대표곡들을 만든 작곡가 조영수의 작품으로 불멸의 팝 듀오 사이먼 앤 가펑클 음악 스타일을 특징으로 만들었다.
"사이먼 앤 가펑클의 음악 스타일을 SG워너비 만의 스타일로 해석해 냈다"는 해석이 붙는 친근하면서도 매력적인 곡이다. 이들은 데뷔때부터 ‘사이먼 앤 가펑클 같은 가수가 되고 싶다’면서 그룹명을 아예 ‘SG워너비’라고 지었다. 컴백무대는 16일 MNET ‘엠!카운트다운’을 시작으로 17일 KBS ‘뮤직뱅크’, 18일 MBC ‘쇼! 음악중심’, 19일 SBS ‘인기가요’에서 순차적으로 이뤄진다.
이번앨범에는 김도훈, 민명기, 안영민 등 SG워너비와 오랜 시간 함께 해 온 최고의 작곡가들이 대거 참여했다. 이들 작곡가의 다양한 음악적 색깔이 SG워너비의 이번 앨범을 풍성하게 꾸몄다는 평이다. SG워너비는 이번 앨범 타이틀곡 ‘사랑해’를16일 케이블채널 엠넷의 ‘엠카운트다운’을 시작으로 방송 무대에서 먼저 선보일 계획이다.

Vocals:10 and Music:8? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album is actually very good because of Sg Wannabe's vocals. They have tried a little variation to their style and some of the music compositions just do not fit their vocals at all, e.g. Tracks 6 and 7. Sg Wannabe have very powerful and yet tender vocals, and the music arrangements in these two tracks make their vocals sound strained. Also, I have rated Tracks 2, 5 and 9 with 4 stars because the music arrangements and accompaniments can be better in my opinion. My favorite 5 stars tracks are 3, 4 and 9. This album might not be as excellent as their other albums, but get it for Sg Wannabe's excellent vocal efforts!

I wish continuing success to Sg Wannabe! :)

When I first heard the title track, i was kinda dissapointed. but after listening to the whole album, my views changed alot. Most of the tracks are really great and found that SG Wannabe still has their great music.

Not a good effort Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Rather than stay with the style that was working - these guys had to change up their act. I have no problem with change - but the unique character of the SG Wannabe sound is GONE. The song selections are only fair .
If this trend continues, a name change is in order -- SG Usedtobee

SG WannaBe once again gives wonderful album to their fans and music lovers. Their soulful voices resonate throughout each songs. This album is simply wonderful.
