　　風流皇上乾隆（吳孟達）前往荷花塘祭奠舊時紅顏知己陳青蓮（蓋麗麗），豈料遇飛在而來的宿敵徐蓮（舒暢）行刺。乾隆寵臣和珅（曾志偉）和其兒子豐紳殷德（張默）不但護駕不力，反而出盡洋相。乾隆惟有使出獨門兵器乾坤扇與徐蓮對抗，卻反被徐蓮的青蓮神針逼退，雖幸而保全性命，卻把從不離手的乾坤扇弄丟了……
　　為尋回皇帝寶扇，九歲便因對對子成為御賜狀元的天才兒童陳文傑（叮噹）連同養父陳青雲（吳孟達）和武功高強的心遠小和尚（路逸涵）開始了追兇的旅程。路上他們巧遇刁蠻任性的十公主（佟童）和喬裝在逃的徐蓮並結伴而行，結果風波不斷。從被人販子綁架到離奇的飛盜案；從陳青雲對徐蓮的肉麻追求到乾隆與陳文傑之間不為人知的父子關係，使得陳文傑真是一個頭兩個大，而幕後和珅暗中使壞，從中作梗的陰謀詭計也給他們一程添加不少麻煩。真所謂無一日不生事，無一日不聒噪，且看這位天才兒童如何化腐朽為神奇，化險境為平安……

Good Continuation of original Story Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This is a good continuation of the original story also starring Richard Ng. With the added bonus this time round of Eric Tsang as a side kick making this series more enjoyable. The Young Qin Chai has portrayed his role well although I am not too sure about the young monk. I am also not too sure I understand the ending to the dvd well as I am certain parts have been cut from it. All in all an enjoyable series to while away the time.
