WaT idol Koike Teppei returns as a baby-faced police officer in the drama special Shibatora - Dogan Keji! Shijo Saidai no Kiki. Based on Ando Yuma's manga, Shibatora revolves around kind-hearted and idealistic young detective Shibata Taketora, who is often mistaken for a high school student. Despite his cuddly appearances, Taketora is actually an expert in martial arts, and has the special power to see the signs of death around people in mortal danger. With his pure heart and juvenile appearances, Taketora sets out to fight crime and complete dangerous missions. A follow-up to the mini-series aired on Fuji TV in summer 2008, the Shibatora SP continues the drama's "Onigami" storyline. After Mizuki (Ohgo Suzuka, Sexy Voice and Robo) is sent to the juvenile detention center, a criminal going by name Onigami suddenly pops up demanding her release. Faced with serious bomb threats, Shibata goes undercover again to watch over the released Mizuki and investigate Onigami. Naohito Fujiki, Muga Tsukaji, and Maya Miki also reprise their roles for the SP.
