BEST J-ROCK ALBUM EVER ! ! ! ! !

if you are a great fan of japanese pop music and you are crazy about rock, then you shouldn't have missed such a perfect singer -- Shiina Ringo. this album is one of her best albums and i've been loving it all these years. Ringo is so special that i can never find a "bad song" in all her albums. they are just perfect!!! Songs that i love most in this album: "Honnou", "Tsumi to Bachi", "Yokushitsu", "GIBUSU"....Actually they are all wonderful songs and you should never miss this album!!!!! |

Go Ringo!
| This album is full of great songs. Ringo has very unique background music, and a variety of song styles. Her voice is particularly unique as well. She is not the typical J-pop singer. If you like Cocco, Ringo Shiina will definately be a good buy! She and Cocco have similar song themes. There music is slightly different, but it's definately a GOOD thing, for both of them! |

Probably everything that had to be said about Shiina Ringo, has been said by now. A lot of that was true, a lot wasn't. The references to Courtney Love annoy me to this very day. Never has Courtney Love reached the level of greatness and artistry Shiina DID reach. Shoso Strip (Winning Strip) is a simply stunning follow-up to the simply stunning debut Muzai Moratorium (Innocense Moratorium). The diversity is one of the first things to catch your ear, along with great hooks, beautiful songs, and one of the most amazing voices ever to be heard. Prepare to be shocked, to be in awe, for your life may never be the same after hearing this. I could mention some highlights, of course, but this would result in mentioning the entire CD. A must for every JPop fan, and every serious music fan in general. |
