Pretty good!!! (n_n) Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
After YesAsia had trouble locating this from suppliers and cancelled my order, they got the last one in stock!! (>_<) So, I bought it AGAIN but actually recieved it this time!

The DVD is karaoke optional, so that was nice! I like the first video so much! "Shou Shou De" was VERY CUTE! <3 There was also one other video that was very cute! This album isn't really Fish's best I don't suppose. "j'adore" is SO GREAT!...so I got this but I don't think it's near as good as "j'adore". Some of the songs sounded either too similar or not that good. I haven't changed my mind though...I still believe Fish's voice is ooooooooooo soooo beautiful!!! *.* !!!

I just hoped this DVD would be more interesting, but I had trouble staying awake once the first 4 videos passed. I wonder if her "Swallowtail Butterfly" album is better!! (O.o) I think I'll go for that next!!!!! n_n-V Fish is too good of an artist to let go!!! I do think this album is worth the money for those who enjoy a beautiful voice, sweet emotion, and lovely melodies. I know I'm going to grab the CD version so I can listen to it anywhere I go!!!

Spectacular DVD... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am so extremely pleased with this DVD! Unlike so many other DVDs that make you watch the karaoke lyrics on the screen...this DVD gives the viewer the option to watch all 10 music videos as karaoke OR music videos ONLY. For someone like me who only wants the music videos...this is perfect. Why don't more singers provide this option in their DVDs? For example, I love Penny Tai and both of her DVDs, but there is simply no way to watch only the music videos without the huge lyrics lighting up as she sings. Anyway, this is gorgeous...typically beautiful Jasmine songs and excellent filming. The colors in the very first video are breath-taking and just visually stunning. I also like that there is NO COMMENTARY. On the DVD version (only 5 songs) that came in her CD release, each music video is started with commentary. It's very distracting and totally disrupts the flow of the music and videos. I was dissapointed with THAT DVD and wish I had simply waited for this full-length (all 10 tracks) to be released. This one is all music and all videos. If you love Jasmine...you must own this. There is nothing about it with which one can complain! I love it, and I know I will watch it/play it often because it's such superb quality. And again, it's WONDERFUL to have the ability to choose karaoke version or music video only version. PLEASE: more singers...do that!

So So Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This album is not as good as previous albums she has done. I think the songs are so so, not really worth listening. Even though it’s composed by Lee Hom, I found that “Track1” is boring (maybe the music arrangement makes it boring). I think ”Track2” is much better than “Track1”. “Track 5” composed by Tanya Chua is refreshing. After all, Fish has made great improvement in her technique and vocal range. I found that she can reach high melody without too much difficulty. However, this is a must have album for everyone who love Fish’s sweet voice !!

Amazing Vocal Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Fish Leong collaborates with many different singer-songwriters in this album, including one of the most creditable songwriters in Taiwan, Lee Hom who composed the title song “Si Lu(Silk Road)”.

I don’t really like the title song “Silk Road” when I first heard it. After a few times listening to it carefully, the song really gets to me. I feel like I’m wandering in Silk Road, the never-ending mass desert. Fish’s rendition is flawless. But I still think there should be more background vocal and contra vocal towards the end, not only the last chorus. The arrangement can be made to sound grander. My favorite song in the album, “Wo Hai Ji De (I Still Remember)” is written by the composer who wrote “If There Is One Day” (Ru Guo You Yi Tian) in Fish’s sophomore album. If you like that song, you’ll certainly love this as well. It shows her powerful voice and her vocal range. A nice but not easy song to sing in karaoke.

Don’t be mistaken that “Shou Shou De (Lean)” is a song for sliming center’s commercial. It’s about the concept of “lean love” brought up by the producers. ‘Eighty percent of happiness is enough.’ This song is cute, naturally cute, unlike some “fake cuteness” in Taiwan or Japan. Fish’s voice is sweet but not over. It reminds me of one of her earlier songs “Loving You Is Not Only Two Three Days” (Ai Ni Bu Shi Liang San Tian). “Ke Xi Bu Shi Ni (Sadly, It’s Not You)” is the theme song of Korean Series “Sad Love Story”. Fish sings it perfectly. I absolutely love her vibrato at the end of each phrase.

Other songs worth mentioned are “Lu (Road)” written by JS, “Yi Dui Yi (One To One)” by Tanya, rockish “Xia Yi Miao Zhong (Next Second)” and slow ballad “Ying Wei Hai Shi Hui (Because I’d Still)”.

Fish Leong is no doubt one of the best female vocal in the industry and her vocal has improved a lot since her first album. This small town girl ain’t nominated Golden Music Award’s Best Female Singer for nothing.

Recommended tracks: 1, 2, 3, 6, 9

Always Perfection... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Another spectacular release by Fish! I have every release she has ever recorded and I think that while "Swallowtail Butterfly" remains my ultimate favorite...it's hard to pick the best when ALL her CDs are top-notch. I also like "Sunrise" a lot, even though it's older. With this release, though, you can tell she witheld NOTHING. Her heart and soul are laid out in her songs and on every delightful note. Her voice is so very passionate and compelling that one can't help but fall in love. The over-all feel of this CD is relaxation yet exuberance. There is absolutely nothing to complain about on this release...it is perfection and I recommend it to anyone who loves excellent music and a truly talented singer. She has some complex vocal arrangements on this CD that leave me breathless and in awe of her ability. She has stretched her wings: the "Butterfly" of her last release is flying proud and free on this one! I am honored to own this recording and will play it VERY frequently.
