Following the successes of My Sister Hedy and Wedding Bells for Hedy, Jeanette Lin Cui and Julia Ye Feng played a pair of sisters with diverging personalities for the third time in MP&GI comedy Sister Long Legs. With her seducing figure and cold beauty, the role of "Sister Long Legs" was a perfect role for Ye. Meanwhile, Lin wasted no time to demonstrate her charm and adorable character as the "Students' Lover" with her vivid and lovely performance as the younger sister – arguably a naughty tomboy replica of Audrey Hepburn's little princess in Roman Holiday.

Thoroughly charming film
| Have you ever had a smile on your face from start to finish of a film? Well, I did, when watching this charming little gem of a comic romance. The gorgeous Julie Yeh and impish Lin Cui once again are a joy to watch, and, as always, are surrounded by the excellent stable of Cathay supporting actors. I laughed out loud when Lin's character was asked to name her favorite actress; she replied, "Lin Cui!" And she just might be my favorite, too. There's never a dull moment in this warm-hearted wonder. Very, very highly recommended. |
