Jeremiah Mac to return to the family farm to attend the funeral of his Aunt . Mac’s answer is short and brutal : no way . But the stranger’s response is even odder . He pulls a small , crudely-carved figurine from his pocket . It draws Mac irresistibly back … back to a place he thought he’s left behind fourteen years ago .
