(10)Our Price: US$14.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysMay 7, 2008 So much bloodEven though "Fatal Move" isn't as good as "SPL", it's definitely worth it to see Sammo Hung, Wu Jing, and Simon Yam onscreen together again. And, hey, it's Danny Lee as a cop! The story is a bit too serious and slow moving at points, but when the action comes, it doesn't disappoint. The film goes completely over the top with the gangster melodrama and violence - there's CGI blood and severed limbs left and right and Wu Jing is totally awesome as the terminator right-hand man (again). November 30, 2007 Soooo NiceThis album is completely awesome because other than SG Wannabe's great singing, you also get a really really nice calendar. Since it's the end of the year, and every other singer is tacking on some kind of calendar with the album, I wasn't really expecting much, but this totally exceeded my expectations. The photo desktop calendar is quite big, and it's the nice harder paper material with many pages of full-color photos. And the boys look really good in the pictures too! The recording company obviously really put money and time to make this a nice release, and it shows. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 23, 2007 Funny and CuteThis drama is really enjoyable and easy to watch. Lee Min-Ki and Eugene are both hilarious, and they make a cute couple. I was especially surprised at how good Eugene was. This series didn't get that much attention which is too bad because it's actually a lot better than many of the more high-profile dramas. Great if you want to watch something funny and light-hearted instead of all that tearjerking melodramatic stuff. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The photo book is actually a full-sized full-color photo album with nice glossy pictures. Just the photo album itself would be worth the price already. The CD is also surprisingly good. I think Tony is a bit hit or miss with his music, but this time I like all five songs in the album. Nothing fancy, but good beats and melody and easy to listen to.

May 26, 2007 Kangta in PortugueseIn response to the comment below, the Kangta song is in Portuguese. "Question" in Spanish is "pregunta", in Portuguese it's "pergunta". His pronunciation is nothing to phone home about, but not a bad effort, and the song has a nice jazzy feel to it. TVXQ's "All in Vain" is really good, probably my new favorite song from the group. Very different from typical K-pop, and Micky sings in English. Hyun Jin's "Calling" is also quite good, very peaceful and dramatic. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
July 25, 2002 Jay can do no wrong
Well, the general consensus is that Eight Dimensions is not good as Fantasy - which is true. But, people seem to be marking down this album in comparison, just because Fantasy was so perfect, which is ridiculous. This is still a damn good album, and the best thing to have come out this year yet. As with Jay's previous albums, every song is great and listenable. And believe me, hearing Jay's new album after Edison's new album, the superiority jumps out like a God-given blessing.
People are saying that this album is repetitive and replicates the previous, well I beg to differ. First of all, Jay's voice is not something that's gonna to change. He has a distinctive singing style that only works with his songs. So if people are expecting a new voice, it's not going to happen, especially when it is exactly his unique voice and style that everyone is attracted to. Second, this album actually has a very different type of musical arrangement and beats than Fantasy. I will concede that I would have preferred a greater hip hop edge, but beyond that, this album is awesome and definitely worth buying.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Beijing Rocks
April 28, 2002 Pseudo-art at it's bestI really loved this film. So what if it's an overly colorful, pseudo-artsy, music video-like rendition of a superficial presentation of chinese rock music? It was still well-done, and one of the best movies to come out last year. Its attempt to truly convey what the rock music scene is like was valliant, but jaded by its simultaneous need to stick a cheesy romance angle in, although unless most films, even the romance angle was bearable in this movie. True, it's not artsy enought to garner good reviews, and not commercial enough to garner box office ratings. But it's hybrid Taiwan/China/Hong Kong ensemble cast and overly glamorous cinematic depiction may in itself serve as a statement about the direction of the increasingly commerical mainland rock scene. All in all, this is at least the best pseudo-artistic film I've ever seen. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Chinese Odyssey 2002 (DVD) (Hong Kong Version)
April 28, 2002 Wong Kar-Wai Meets ComedyI always wondered what would happen if Wong Kar Wai did comedy. I guess Chinese Odyssey gave me the answer, and hey he only produced this one. All in all, an extremely bizarre movie. Funny at times, but just quirky most of the time. It's more in line with the outrageous Hong Kong comedy type of humor that not everyone can get used to. I'll have to say I appreciated it a lot more in the second watching, but I'm still somewhat disappointed by it, in consideration of the cast and it being a jet tone movie. All the actors did well. Even Faye's offbeat comedic timing worked. But the premise of it was just too ridiculous. And the songs...oh god... Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
