窮小子韋諾（黃日華）與千金小姐潘曉彤（莊靜而）為大學同學，更是一對戀人，但二人身分懸殊，終被逼分開。彤受家庭支配，最後下嫁門當戶對的富家子應子輝（湯鎮業）。
諾經此挫折後，決心不擇手段以求富貴，其後在漁家女若萍（黃曼凝）的協助下，成功發跡，遂與輝在商場上角力。憑著過人膽色和才能，諾向輝步步進逼，終令他的生一敗塗地。諾更揭發輝吞併親弟子謙（梁朝偉）的家產，輝走投無路，向諾作出最狠毒的還擊……

Excellent classic series from TVB

I watched this series when I was very young, and up to this day I think this is one of the best series TVB has ever made. The storyline is entertaining -the first few episodes when the main characters were in University was very funny, and as the storyline progresses, it becomes less comical and more serious. Still it kept me glued to my chair and I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I did. It's still my favourite series of all time. |
