Taiwan pop duo JS (Justin & Sophia Chen) take on electronic music in their new EP! Justin has been fascinated with electronic music ever since he listened to Brian Transeau's album ESCM when he was 16 years old. JS, looking for a new musical direction, naturally steered towards electronic for their new work. So, here comes Somewhere, a new electronic number in the JS style. The titular track comes in four versions, which are the original demo version, the extended remix, and two individual vocal versions by each of the siblings respectively. Also included are two new remixes of JS's early songs, namely "Sha Po Lan" from the 2004 album See the Future featuring a trance-style rearrangement, and Heaven from their 1999 debut album Say Forever, when the group was still known as GoGo&MeMe.

《新曲》SOMEWHERE
16歲那年Justin聽的第一張電音CD，是BT的ESCM。
當時就被Flaming June的華麗夢幻震懾住了。
最近幾年我們都在找尋JS音樂的新方向，有一天忽然想起第一次聽到BT時的驚豔和憾動。
於是開始去反芻電音的過去與現在。如今我們準備好了，JS的電音時代即將展開！
這張EP中除了保留SOMEWHERE原始DEMO版本之外，更收錄了Justin男聲版及Sophia女聲版的雙Remix。以及提供給DJ及混音同好的extended mix版本。除了聽見JS創作力的變幻莫測之外，也聽見一首好歌的無限可能。

殺破狼《through the fire remix》
發表於2004年JS【遇見未來】專輯中的作品。Trance的節奏pattern，加上鋼琴和尺八。衝突卻意外揉合的美感，賦予這首JS成名作全新生命。

Heaven 《in the breeze remix》
原作發表於1999年GoGo&MeMe【Say Forever】專輯，這次JS重新製作成Chill-out版本。在JS的音樂氛圍裡馳放，人在台北，心卻在Ibiza。
就像第一次聽見Caf’e del mar，這樣的音樂總能把我們帶到很遠很遠的地方去。JS把自己的生活哲學，融入音樂創作裡，也讓它釋放你。
