Telling the story behind the story, Stars follows the second season of One Million Star from behind the scenes, showing the real lives behind the shining faces and the hardships behind the Cinderella journeys. Equal parts pop essay and human drama, the documentary looks into the dreams and motivations that brought people from all around Taiwan to One Million Star's open call audition, and the very different roads that carried Lai Ming Wei, Wu Zhong Ming, Annie Lin, Huang Mei Chen, Liang Wen Yin, Tseng Pei Ci, Gina Li, Lin Pei Yao, Wei Ru Yun, and Yeh Wei Ting to One Million Star's ultimate stage as the final ten.
