Story of Time 2: Bling Days TV Original Soundtrack (OST)

After a successful run from 2008 to 2009, CTS's popular nostalgic drama Story of Time returns in summer 2009 for a highly anticipated second season with a fresh new cast and the same old charms. While the first drama was set in a military dependents' village, the sequel expands the world of Story of Time to tell more touching small-town stories in postwar Taiwan. Story of Time 2: Bling Days mainly revolves around four girls born in 1954, using their adventures and experiences to reflect the life and times of a shining generation coming of age in a rapidly developing society balancing traditional values and newfangled changes. Bling Days stars Bianca Bai (It Started with a Kiss), Linda Liao (ToGetHer), Li Jia Yu, and Queenie Dai (Basketball), as well as Danny Liang (The Shoe Fairy), Li Yun Qing (The Road in the Air), Born Li, and Jack Na (Black & White)

The soundtrack for the first Story of Time received rave reviews for its mix of old-time classics and new youth anthems, and the Bling Days OST continues in that tradition. For the drama's title theme song, popular Mainland singer-songwriter Anson Hu offers a beautiful cover of Liu Wen Zheng's golden classic "Bling Days" (Track 1). Newcomer duo Blue Bird Flying Fish bring their characteristic feel-good energy to their cover of "Zhang San's Song" (Track 3), and The Flowers' Da Zhang Wei adapts Teresa Teng's "How Do You Say" into "Singing in Tears" (Track 11). Pleasantly evoking the sounds and sentiments of another era, the soundtrack brings listeners down memory lane with classic songs by the likes of Tsai Qin, Lo Da You, Sylvia Chang, Michelle Pan, Kris Phillips, and Sarah Chen.
