When Eric Kot was a member of the Soft Hard Kids back in the 1990s, he was an icon of Hong Kong popular culture. Now he sits in the director's chair to make Super Fans, a film starring Charlene Choi of the popular duo Twins, set in Hong Kong's pop culture scene. A real-life pop star, Charlene Choi makes a role reversal to play the super fan of a pop singer in the film. Super Fans also features award-winning Canto-pop singer Leo Ku and hot TV actor Kevin Cheng. Apart from offering a dream-like romantic story, Super Fans also reflects various facets of Hong Kong popular culture.

Sum Lee (DJ Sammy) and Yan Yee (Kevin Cheng) are rival singers, and Susie (Charlene Choi) is a super fan of Sum. Completely obsessed with Sum, Susie is willing to do anything for him, even attack Yan Yee with the nastiest of tricks. Susie's dream comes true when Sum by chance asks her to be his substitute assistant. But that's how she discovers the darker side of the real-life Sum, and after that she realizes Yan Yee isnt' that bad after all! There is also a rural postman (Leo Ku) who secretly admires her, accompanying her through all the crazy star-chasing.

蘇絲(阿Sa)是個典型瘋狂流行歌手Fans，日夕追星，會考後更全職當兩大天王之一的李痴琛Sampson(森美)「我為你痴琛」的會員，日日與單戀她的圍村邸差金水(古巨基)在網上對Sampson 大力吹棒，又對Sampson的多對手鄭恩儀(鄭嘉穎)大力醜化攻擊，又隔日送菊花和陰司紙比Yan，極盡瘋狂之能事。又到頒獎禮前夕，Sampson在「九龍大獎」與Yan爭得叮噹馬頭。蘇絲為了打壓Yan，假裝成Yan的Fans，混在其中，在一次上台與Yan的親密接觸時，誣衊Yan非禮她，引起Yan的Fan不滿，群起追打蘇絲﹗蘇絲見形勢不妙，只好逃命……

Charlene Choi from the pop duo TWINS stars in this tongue-in-cheek comedy as Sussie, a super fan of dancer/singer Sum Lee. When Sussie gets a chance to join Sum's entourage as an assistant, however, she is surprised to discover that her No.1 idol is a total jerk. Disappointed, Sussie soon finds herself attached to Sum's rival singer Yee instead. SUPER FANS is an amusing and satiric look at Hong Kong teenage girls' craving for extreme idol worship.
