His old love Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) now has a child and is engaged to Richard White (James Marsden), and the people of Metropolis seem to have already forgotten their superhero. Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey), however, is still hatching up unsavory plans for world domination, only this time he has Kryptonite, and plenty of it. Can Superman save the world once more?

Great movie, not quite a sequel and not quite a remake - it's a bit of both. I got a sense of satisfaction every time superman saved the day. Good action scenes, adventure and has the right amount of romance as well. Brandon Routh plays superman very well, a good performance. Highly recommended... 9/10.
