since it consist lots of sad songs. Yet I love this new album.. Her singing is groovy..
My fav songs are Free Fall, Only Love, Red High Heels, and Rusty Playground.

Since I'm not a big fan of rock music I think this album is so so.. It doesn't move me as their previous albums did. I think Greeny's voice is not suit to sing rock songs but this whole album does have character. The lyrics and the music are good. I like the music arrangement esp the drum and guitar in this album.. powerful n fresh.. something I haven't heard from their previous albums.
This album consist a lot variety of rock songs.
It's interesting that this rock album is produced in England but they put a Hokkien-dialect song in it. Beautiful *_^ All track in this album are good. My fav list is;

July 16, 2009 Love it ^^I like this new album of Valen so much!! It's much better than "Lattitude 66 Degrees" album.
From the first track, it's already captured my ear. Accoustic song really suits her soft voice. I like all the tracks in this album except "TogetherWith You" which has rock genre. It destroyed my impression of this album which should be easy listening and relaxing. For me, "Together With You" is not tune with the musical concept of this album.
Inspite of my complain, I'm really satisfied with this album. Finally I got a 20th-century-produced-album of Valen which I can play over and over again. This album is a must have for all Valen's fans.
For everybody who like Peggy Hsu's 09 album "Fine", you must buy this "Love. Journey. 1km" album. Both of them gave the same relaxing effect to me. Both are my fav.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
June 9, 2009 Love it ^^ Awesome!!
This is the first time I really pay attention to this girl. After hearing this album, all I can say is this album is awesome! I think she will be a great singer in a few years. This newcomer is really awesome!
Her vocal moved me. I can't really understand how her voice could touch me while I didn't really get the lyrics.Yet her singing did touch me.. Although her singing skill is not superb, her vocal is so honest and passionate.
All the songs are composed by herself. She's a good composer. Doesn't seem like an amateur in song-writing. She can make various genre of songs. Acoustic, Rock,Jazz, etc. Amazing! I like the music arrangement in this album too. High quality, not just standard !

A mix of ear-catching ballads and up-tempo songs makes it worth to listen without skipping any tracks (except track 9 which has bad recording). My favorite tracks are almost all the tracks in this album except track 9. I think every track has its own unique part. Some tracks are worth listening for the melody while some tracks are nice for the music and vocal.
In spite of several lack in some parts, Claire is a good singer. Her vocal is powerful in some songs but sweet in others. It reminds me to both Angela Chang and Fish Leung. I like the concert because it has and ballad songs and up-tempo songs as well. The concert is beautiful both in visual and auditory. Jeff sang up-tempo songs as well as ballad songs. Joey sang well in some songs and not very well in others. Her voice sometimes isn't fit in some kind of songs. I found that she has wide range of voice by her singing in track 4 but I think somehow the way she sang in high melodies wasn't so good. I don't really like it. Finally, I have enough time to review this album. It's really a great album. I like the way Summer sings. It just so fun. The album has a lot diferrent styles of songs. A lot of mixing. I found rock n roll, ballad rock, a little blues, etc. The lyrics is unique. After all I like this band so much. Track 1 'Love, freedom' and track 9 'Autumn, summer, fall, winter' are the masterpiece of this band. I really really like these songs. The music arrangement is cool and fun.. I'd like to give standing ovation to Sodagreen. This album is so great. I like every songs, I like the music, I like the lyrics. All the songs gave me so much fun. October 5, 2007 So SoThis new album of Fan Fan failed to impress me. After the breathtaking album last year, Our Day, I'd been waiting for a great new album from this singer. Then when I listened to this album, I found that all the ballad songs sounds similar. Not so ear-catching for me. But the mid tempo songs is fresh. It had so different style from her previous songs. My favourite tracks are track 2, track 11, and track 12.
I give extra point for the lyrics of the songs in this album, especially for track 3, track 5, track 10 and track 12.

February 2, 2007 SO BEAUTIFUL
Yeah!! He did it !! This album is definitely a MASTERPIECE from David Tao. All of the songs are high-musicality yet easy listening and relaxing. After hearing the whole album, I realize that he has his own style of melodies.
Track 2 is astonishing. I’ve never thought that he’ll make it that way but astonishing too, I’m quickly bored with this song. But the ending is really interesting ^^ Track 3 has very melodious verse and bridge but the refrain has too many words ‘tai mei li’ with the same note. It’s boring but fortunately because of the whole song’s beauty I’ve never skipped this track. The medium beat songs as in track 4 and track 6 are really worth listening. Yet somehow the refrain of track 4 reminds me to one of eVonne song (I forget the song’s title).
I’d highly recommend Track 8. It’s SUPERB!! Even though the lyric is a little bit sad but the music and the way he sings it makes me enjoy this song very much ^^ I’m always in sunny mood after I hear it. The slow songs especially track 9 and track 11 make me flow with the songs. They really are nice songs. I like the intro of track 10. It’s kind of bringing me back to summer days. Track 12 is cool!! It’s a hard-to-sing song but he is able to make it. He sings it so emotionally that leave deep impression to the listeners.
I don’t think that David has a great or the best vocal technique but I do think that he has great sense of music. The improvisation he does is not just made to make the songs not boring. The improvisation is the soul of the songs. It’s not made up. The way he sings is impressive. He doesn’t need to follow singing rules. He just sings as he likes. That’s the biggest point that causes this album so BEAUTIFUL.

I was attached to Michelle Vickie by their first album hit “Du Li”. I was looking for the same wonderful song in their second album but I found that the second album is just so so. It’s just like any other girl band albums. But this third album is different.
Track 3 has interesting music. The song is difficult to sing since the beginning is soft but the refrain is high and so powerful. Yet they did it well in this album. I wonder if they can sing on the concert as good as in the recording.
Track 4 is just an ordinary ‘girls band style’ song. What makes the song special is Michelle&Vickie perfect harmony. When they sing together esp. in the refrain, it heard so beautiful. So far I’ve never heard any girl bands sing in harmony as beautiful as Michelle&Vickie do. Yes, both Michelle and Vickie voice are beautiful but when they sing together, they produce really amazing harmony. This is what a girl band should be.
Track 5 -> I love the guitar section in this song. It brings different air than their songs in the previous albums. The intro is fun!! I’m amazed by Michelle’s technique vocal in this song.
Track 6 -> one word is enough to describe this track. It is ‘French’!!
Track 7 reminds me to one of F.I.R. songs ‘1234567’.
Track 8 is ENCHANTING!! The melody is worth listening, a little oldies yet beautiful. I can’t find another word to describe this song further but it’s really worth listening and calming.
After all, this third album is more colorful than the two previous albums. They are bold to try to sing different kind of songs that aren’t commercial nowadays. Besides their melodious voice and harmonic vocal, they are also talented. I’ve just realized that Michelle can make different style of songs such as track 2, track 6, track 7, and track 8.
I’ll recommend this album for every music maniacs who want something different and refreshing from what usually girl bands offer nowadays. By the way, I haven’t seen their live performance yet and I’m waiting for it.

November 29, 2006 DissapointingAfter Silkroad of Love, I thought she would come back with a smashing new album just like 'Sunrise' album. Then I realized, I was wrong. This new album is far away from what I've expected. I might say it is the worst album Jing Ru ever made. If I rate every songs in this album, there isn't any Mando song which is worth 5 stars. I can only give 4 stars for some songs just like track2, track3, track 4 and track 5. Those are nice songs but not the best songs of Jing Ru. Even though I don't really like the melody, I like the music in track 7. From the whole songs in this album, there is a song that I'm quite impressed. It's the Hokkian song. Beside having nice melody, it also explores Jing Ru's beautiful voice. I recommend this song to every body who think that Hokkian songs are old-fashioned... Did you find this review helpful? September 2, 2006 Never disappointedI've never been disappointed by FIR. I think this album is more colourful than the second album. I strongly recommend track 8, track 2, track 5, and track 4.
Track 5 is the most worth listening song in this album for me. I think it's the first time Real could make such a completely beautiful song.
I admire music arrangement in track 5 and track 2. It's genius!
I don't give this album 10 stars because of thw following reason :
When I listen to track 10, I feel that the music is not quite fit for that song. But I like the melody.
Track 7 is quite worth listening but I dislike the way Faye sing it.
The songs' lyrics in this album is not as goos as the previous albums. This album contains too much 'love' songs. you can compare it with the first and second album which have more different kind of lyrics.
After all I don't think that this album quality is worse than the first one. Many people have this opinion because the first album is absolutely impressive. When we listened to the first album, we got suprised and say 'there are such powerful, grande, high-musicality songs on the earth'. That's why when we listen to the second and third album, it doesn't make us surprise anymore but it doesn't mean the last two are worse than the first.Did you find this review helpful? Eventhough I have no doubt about her vocal in up beat songs, I need to criticize her lack technique and passion in slow songs especially track 3. I adore track 3 very much. It has beautiful melody, it's a beautiful song but unfortunately the way Cyndi sang it is very standard. I think she should have been able to add something by her voice to this song to make it a whole perfect. The way she sang it doesn't impress me at all. I would like to imagine if it was sang by a veteran Taiwanese singer Li Yi Jun (I found the same melody in her latest album), this song would be completely perfect.

April 27, 2006 ExcellentI found that all the songs in this album are worth-listening. Eventhough there is a track that I don't quite like but it's not bad. The arrangement makes all the songs interesting and not boring. When I play the cd ,I don't have to jump from one track to another track because one is good and one is bad as I usually do. At first, I thought this album would not be as good as his previous album. but then I know that I was wrong. March 1, 2006 Not as good as beforeI say it's not as good as Aurora because Aurora has mor e style and interesting arrangement. This album is not bad but more monoton in style and arrangement.
I'm disappointed because Angela doesn't show her great vocal technique. The songs in this album are much easier to sing compare to "Shou Xin De Tai Yang", "Zhi Xian", "Na Han" in her previous albums.
Track 6 & 8 are really great. Track 9 is a beautiful song that explores and shows Angela's beautiful voice while track 1 makes me wanna play it again and again.
Track 2 is not worth listening but it's a great song for marketing and promotion. It's a kind of songs that can draw people attention and once you hear it, you won't forget it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
