In this action-packed tale of love and heroism, a young Tai Chi Master (Jacky Wu) battles corrupt officials and evil English merchants who are polluting China with opium. He must also fight off jealous suitors to win the heart of a beautiful revolutionary (Christy Chung). Directed by Yuen Woo Ping (Wing Chun, Drunken Master and Fist Of Legend), Tai Chi II has non stop lightning-speed fight scenes and high-kicking acrobatic action that will satisfy even the most ardent kung-fu aficionados.

Charming and different
| This movie is called "Tai Chi Boxer" in the UK and it is a great movie to watch. Wu Jing is shows us that he is a great martial artist and actor, he has both charm and talent. Whilst the story is a bit weak. The action and fight scenes are not. What is also good is the lack of aggression from the main character, he is a gentleman and has humility, yet strong. This is what Tai Chi is about. This movie has humour, romance as well as action. Wu Jing has grace, whilst Jet Li has power and I look forward to seeing more of his movies. |

10+ Wu Jing and Christy are on the same frequency
| Although one of Jings earlier works, he demonstrates an incredible talent for acting and martial arts skill. He plays the role of a kind hearted but sometimes mischevious son of a grandmaster in tai chi. You'll get hooked just by watching his passionate and charming disposition, not to mention his awesome flexibility and speed in wushu. I love this guy... |
