Takizawa Enbujo '08 (Japan Version) DVD Region 2

Johnny's idol Takizawa Hideaki has been staging his namesake musical Takizawa Enbujo since 2006, and the 2008 edition takes on the themes of love and destiny. Staged from April 2 to 27 at the Shinbashi Theater in Tokyo, Takizawa Enbujo '08 continues the tradition of the previous years, integrating kabuki, mask dance, and magic into a musical repertoire that gets more spectacular by the year. Takizawa gets ample support from A.B.C.-Z's Kawai Fumito and Totsuka Shota and Kis-My-Ft2's Fujigaya Taisuke and Kitayama Hiromitsu, as well as other Johnny's Juniors. The first part of the musical sees Takizawa reinterpreting traditional Japanese legends and folk tales onstage. In the second part, he takes on the challenge of portraying three historical figures - Heian period heroes Minamoto Yoshitsune, Yoshitomo, and Noriyori.

This release comes with a making of documentary.
